“Step aside dad we’ve got this”. You might remember Mara who came to us at 6 months old and is now 3yrs old. He was definitely ready to be doing something and Freya and Lois were more than up for the challenge. Freya has quietly backed him ridden him away. He’s now had a few small outings under his belt and thoroughly enjoyed them all. He was also a strong contender at Dalkeith show on Saturday, coming 3rd 🥉
Welcome back Oscar!!
You might remember this handsome 4yr old. He was with us last summer to get backed and ridden away. He's had a lovely winter break and is ready to get back into work .

Some highlights from a busy weekend 🌟 Bertie showjumping at ISEC on Saturday, a year ago to the day since he did his first SJ competition up there. He has come on a lot since then and is proving to be a lovely horse 🤩. 4yo Ozzie is enjoying hacking round the hills and has come on leaps and bounds in the last couple of months ☺️. A busy day on Sunday at the Jed Forest hunt ride with the full Ainslie team out in force. Tammy had a great time as did Freya and Lois. Dom, Silver, Lady and George all behaved really well which made for a great day out 🌟 . This is a sad sale of a lovely horse who was sadly just too much for my clients 8 year old daughter however, Tonka would be an excellent sort for a competent and confident teenager looking to get out competing. Fraser had a thoroughly enjoyable morning at the Buccleuch Brush up on Sunday. This lovely 12yo coloured mare was foot perfect for her first time over the hedges and jumped the rails and other fences with ease. Remy has been enjoying plenty of days hunting out with the Duke of Buccleuch Foxhounds and has been jumping everything asked of her first time. A very genuine, safe and sensible mare for someone to have a lot of fun with. She is easy to do in all ways and continues to exceed all expectations. 5yo Grey Welsh Section A Pony

🌟 Friarly Rusk 🌟
Stunning little 5 year old 12hh grey Welsh Section A pony looking for a new jockey. He is registered with the Welsh Pony and Cob Society. Rusk is a forward going chap who likes to be kept busy and on the go. Since arriving with us, he has been ridden by Frasers two daughters (6yo and 8yo) who have had lots of fun. Rusk has been to gymkhanas, hunt rides and had lots of lessons over the last few months with both girls. Has been jumping courses of 65cm with fillers and water trays as well as tyres and rustic fences too.
Whilst Rusk is without a doubt a super little pony, he has been ridden off the lead rein mainly by a very competent 8 year old. He has however, been a super lead rein pony in the past and would be more suited to a lead rein home or second ridden home for a competent rider.
As you can see from the photos and videos, he has plenty of ability, has gained a lot of life experience in the last few months and will turn his hoof to whatever is being asked. This really smart little pony will be missed by the girls but due to their rapidly growing long legs, he is now ready to go and give another child or children some fun.

Holiday time is over for this pair!
Cloony is back in for a few weeks to enjoy a bit of a pamper and some more handling. He will then head back out for the winter before coming back in as a 3yr old next year.
Dominic has enjoyed his wee break and will now get ready for his first hunting season with Freya 🦊.
