INFORMATION IF YOU LIVE IN ENGLAND AND WANT TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.

For some reason, we have been getting an enormous amount of interest from people based in England in our current 3 dogs (who are, admittedly, all very beautiful).

While we're happy to re-home our dogs anywhere they will receive love and care, there are a few logistical matters to consider:

1. **Home Check:** We always conduct a home check before proceeding with any application. This ensures the home is suitable for one of our dogs and that the adopter understands the care a Doberman requires. We don't have many volunteers in England and they are pretty thinly spread, so it may take longer than usual to organise a home check.

2. **Travel:** As a Scottish-based charity, our dogs all in Scotland. We are a small charity with very limited funds and these are 100% dedicated to the care and health of our dogs. You would need to fund the travel costs to meet and collect the dog, although we could potentially arrange a more central meeting point. This can end up being quite expensive.

3. **Adoption Only:** Due to the distance, we can only consider you for adoption, not fostering, as we do not have the resources to provide our normal support service. We also require the transfer of ownership documents and adoption donation to be completed before the dog is collected.

It can be done - the lovely Molly ended up on the South coast, where she very much enjoys the beach - we just want to make sure that you know what's involved.

We are getting a huge amount of interest in our 3 dogs Adobe, Alice and Trevor and we've sent out a few application forms that haven't come back yet. If you would love to give one of these dogs their forever home, please do get the form back asap so we can get the home check done. And if you're expecting a form that hasn't arrived yet please a) check spam and b) email us on [email protected] so we can check and sort it out. Flipping Eowyn caused quite a few internet and power problems where we are so something may have been missed!

🎉 Adoption Announcement: Farrah’s New Beginning! 🐾

We’re thrilled to announce that Farrah (formerly Sharon) has found her forever home! 💖She is officially a 'failed foster' and will be spending the rest of her days with her foster family as a permanent member of the family!

This beautiful girl captured hearts with her difficult but sweet nature and although hard work, her loving personality has won them over, now she gets to start an exciting new chapter with her wonderful new family.

Gringo, who spent so long in kennels because his reactivity was a problem, just needed someone with the time and patience to help him overcome this. Note that he completely ignores the dogs on the other side of the fence and he also now has a doggie pal he plays with. We'd like to share a couple videos of Axel sent by our amazing volunteers that are currently taking time out of their busy lives to visit him in the kennels and who spend important quality time exercising and working on training. He's a lovely happy chappy who just needs a chance with a committed owner willing to put some hard work into his initial training. Axel has sadly had a difficult start in life and has been moved from home to home too many times already in his short life, we want to find him somewhere stable where he can be given time to settle and feel secure. Such a lovely boy but needs a pet free home. ⚠️Axel is sadly reactive towards other dogs and was surrendered to us for rehoming due to not getting on with the resident female dog. ⚠️He's not been cat tested so will not be rehomed where there are resident cats. ⚠️We don't know how he is around children so he will not be rehomed where there are young children. Urgent Adoption Appeal for Thea This gorgeous girl has been in foster quite a while now and her time here is drawing to an end. As much as her fosterers adore her, she cannot stay. We're running out of time to find her a new family before she needs to leave her current foster, we fear that going into kennels will completely undo all of their hard work and will only cause Thea to regress and become worse with her behavioural issues which are currently under control with her consistent training.
