I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for the lovely gifts, cards, kind words and messages.
This week has been so hard to say goodbye to the dogs and their families there have been lots of tears, but I have genuinely been humbled and touched. Thank-you!!
Being a dog walker is so much more than walking dogs, and I have learnt so much and will be forever grateful for the trust you gave me to care for your dogs. I have cuddled the dogs when they were scared, protected them when needed, carried them when it rained and their tummies were cold, I have taken thorns out of feet, grass seeds out of eyes, nursed bee stings, chased after you when you saw something fun and your ears turned off, I sat with you and cuddled you when you were so very poorly, I have cared for puppies and older dogs, I have separated squabbles and loved watching you play, grow in confidence and make friends. Every dog, big and small I have loved like my own and I am so glad to hear from so many that I made a difference.
Those that are nervous, I believe in you and know you can be brave, those that love life, do exactly as you do and live your best lives, those that like to eat and roll in p**p, stop it!! 😂
Hopefully I will still see you running around and loving life in our beautiful countryside.
Thank-you also to Andy who joined us and cared for the dogs with me, there will be lots of sad pups when you’re not there on Monday.
