Good morning all!!

I’ve been thinking about you all lots and I’m missing your faces, cuddles and waggy tails!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for the lovely gifts, cards, kind words and messages.

This week has been so hard to say goodbye to the dogs and their families there have been lots of tears, but I have genuinely been humbled and touched. Thank-you!!

Being a dog walker is so much more than walking dogs, and I have learnt so much and will be forever grateful for the trust you gave me to care for your dogs. I have cuddled the dogs when they were scared, protected them when needed, carried them when it rained and their tummies were cold, I have taken thorns out of feet, grass seeds out of eyes, nursed bee stings, chased after you when you saw something fun and your ears turned off, I sat with you and cuddled you when you were so very poorly, I have cared for puppies and older dogs, I have separated squabbles and loved watching you play, grow in confidence and make friends. Every dog, big and small I have loved like my own and I am so glad to hear from so many that I made a difference.

Those that are nervous, I believe in you and know you can be brave, those that love life, do exactly as you do and live your best lives, those that like to eat and roll in p**p, stop it!! 😂

Hopefully I will still see you running around and loving life in our beautiful countryside.

Thank-you also to Andy who joined us and cared for the dogs with me, there will be lots of sad pups when you’re not there on Monday.

This afternoon, Cisco, Porridge, and Henry had an adventure through the woods, we explored some of the deer tracks, and I saw something I’ve never seen a dog do before. Porridge was struggling to get through some sticks, so Cisco went in to check on her and bit the sticks off, then gently nudged her to show her the way out. Oh my Cisco you absolute sweetheart 🥰

Buddy and Porridge had a walk we don’t do often. They loved splashing in the water to stay cool. Porridge loved chasing Buddy along the beach.

Wow what a lovely afternoon, so nice even Cisco had a paddle. The boys ran and ran, and loved the open space and the odd swamp dive to keep cool. Cisco, Henry and Bailey.

Adventure walks are a minimum of 2 hours long in a fab location for £22.50 per dog.

This afternoon Leigha, Coco, Harleigh and Mila had a walk we’ve not done in ages. They loved the change, but the wind was a bit much so we made a sharp exit.

Leo, Buddy and Porridge, had a walk by what is normally a stream, but not today, so it was leads for everyone. Sorry Buddy I know you love a swim.

Bruce and I dodged rain drops and the swollen river. Long line for safety, but he was very chilled this morning, and enjoyed a sniff and a mooch.

What a day!! The weathers given me a few challenges today. The rain and hail first thing was torrential, then the rivers were so dangerous I had to keep everyone on lead, then I thought of a place away from water for the teenies but the wind picked up quickly and I began to worry we were going to get donked on the head by a falling branch. So apologies for not many photos and mainly lead walks. Thankfully we all got home safe though. 🥰
