Just realised the last time I posted…I am rubbish 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Last week, I had the pleasure of looking after Henry & Harry for a few days. It has been so heartwarming to see them go from acting like I’m not there (other than when I’m feeding them) to being affectionate boys coming over for fuss and attention 😍 a little bit of patience and taking things at their pace got us a long way!

Bernie didn’t quite understand why I wouldn’t throw the elephant for him to fetch today 😂

We have a very sunny garden so even just a game of fetch wasn’t on the cards today in this heat. A new antler delivery was on the cards so I have some happy hounds 🐶🐾

I do offer pop ins as well so in warmer weather walks can be changed for pop ins 😊

It has been super hot today and my lot have missed their walk because that is what is right for them. The sun tires them out without them even doing much at all ☀️

Bridie boo is shattered as you can probably tell 😂

Hopefully a cooler day tomorrow so they can get back out 😎

I should probably get used to saying I have four dogs 😂 although he doesn’t live with my other three, they do all get along thanks to some careful socialisations 🙌🏻

ABOUT US

It’s time for a little bit about my dogs as they’re all very different but they’re all rescue dogs 🐶

Bobby

Bobby is a Shih Tzu and he is the oldest of the pack at four years old. He might be four but he acts like a fourteen year old as he hasn’t had the best of health. He had a genetic deformity which he had surgery for when he was one but this has led to arthritis at a young age as well as other problems. Despite his lack of luck medically he is the happiest chap, although he can be very stubborn and he is certainly the friendliest of my dogs (his nickname Big Bad Bob is just for his ego 🤷🏼‍♀️). Bobby gets along with anything and anyone, he is such a lovely boy, an angel dog 🤍

Bernie

What can I say about Bernie…the big softie! Bernie is a three year old Beagle who was born in Poland and he was brought over to England when he was a pup (not by me - I’m his second owner). Bernie is a bit of a scaredy-cat and his fear makes him very reactive which can sometimes lead to him not getting along with other dogs if he’s not introduced properly. He’s certainly not the type of dog that likes other dogs running over to him, it puts the fear of god into him and he will react. He’s scared of the dark and will scream on every walk we do in the dark 🤦🏼‍♀️. He’s a typical Beagle, his nose will get him into trouble and he’s a bloody greedy bu**er! Nevertheless he’s the biggest mammy’s boy to ever exist and a total snuggle bug 🥰

Bridie

Bridie is a two year old Border Terrier who is in fact my lockdown puppy but who could say no to that face 😍. Like many lockdown pups, she has been very under-socialised which has left us with a few behaviour issues we need to work on. Typically she’s not great with other dogs, we have to be very careful with her introductions. Bridie is either the sweetest girl in the world or a total nutcase, there is no in between with her 😂. Bridie is the mediator between the three dogs, she loves to cuddle with Bernie but prefers to play with Bobby. The best girl 💓

ABOUT US

I think it’s time we did a little meet the team, starting with me, Beth, the human behind the business. I’ll pop more about my own dogs on a separate post 🐶🐶🐶

I have always grown up around dogs, from Westies and Yorkies to Labs, Mastiffs and Boxers. After working in animal welfare for over five years, I’ve come across pretty much any type of dog you can imagine. From my three, a Shih Tzu, a Beagle and a Border Terrier to Staffies, Sharpei’s, Spaniels, Huskys, Malamutes, Frenchies, an array of terriers and everything in between.

I’m an experienced dog handler, I have dealt with strong dogs and reactive dogs (two of my own are reactive). I’m fully insured, qualified in pet first aid and DBS checked for your peace of mind.

Whatever your dog/s breed or personality, pop me a message if you’re looking for a reliable dog walker 🐶🐾
