Jasper's Walking, Boarding and Daycare are here to help with all your pet needs! Be it a walk at dinner time when your stuck at work all day, spending the day with us going on adventures when you fancy a break or coming for their own holiday whilst you're away. We are fully insured, qualified in dog 1st aid and have the dogmobile (our van) to transport your animals in :-) If you have any questions please just get in touch

Some of you already know, but we returned home from Mexico on Tuesday and that night our Grandad passed away. His funeral has now been arranged for Tuesday 16th January and therefore we will only be doing 1 morning walk that day.

Today, we received absolutely heartbreaking news that our beautiful Jack has sadly passed away after a stint of illness.
Jack was an amazing dog. He was Jessie's right hand man, leader of our pack and all round good boy! Jack had so much character! He was funny, lovable and loyal.
The Jasper's gang will never be the same without him. He had become such a huge part of our life, spending his days out on adventures with Jessie and his pals, keeping everyone in line and telling the youngins off when they were becoming too rowdy 😂
He was deeply loved by his mam, dad and little brother and we know they will miss him so much 💔
We love you Jack! ❤️

This week we went to the 'sandpit' to have a party with our Barking Avenue pals and get away from the mud! Everybody had a great time with toys, the seesaw and of course, everybody enjoyed the meatballs! 😁

Reminder to get booked in for this week, which is our last working week of 2023! Rach will need to finish a little bit earlier on Tues as I have somewhere I need to be by 2pm but all other days should be normal working hrs 😁. If anyone has donations that they still haven't given us, the beginning of this week is the time to do it so we can get them delivered to the rescues 👍🏼

I will be slightly later than normal picking up dogs tomorrow morning as I have to take Pearl and Molly to the vets at 8.40am. I will come straight from the vets to get 1st lot of walkers so don't worry if I'm not there usual time, I'll be coming 👍🏼

❄️ Well look at that snow and it's still coming down quite heavy! Although it is a lot cleaner than mud, it's also more dangerous driving in it, so we will be extra cautious but times will probably be all over the place. If you're home with your dog and can see to them yourself or if your street/estate is particularly bad please let us know ❄️

Just a little FYI, my (Rach) phone does NOT usually send me notifications when someone messages, or sometimes it will send a notification but then I can't see the message. It must be something to do with my number because I have changed handset and network and this hasn't fixed the problem 😔 so if anyone needs to get in touch urgently or you have used Facebook and didn't get a response, please feel free to contact me by text message, however, please don't call us through the day unless you have to. Our hands and attention are usually focused on the dogs, so a message that we can respond to later is best 👍

1st forecast of snow where we are, but we can't be sad because freezing temperatures mean frozen mud!!! As always when we have adverse weather, we will assess the roads each day and unfortunately may have to cancel some walks. We will do everything we can to carry on working normally over this winter, but sometimes conditions make that impossible, we would recommend you have a back up in place, just in case.

🎄2023 Christmas collection 🎄

From today we will be collecting a selection of items for a couple of animal rescues local to us, Brysons and Foxhound Welfare. If you would like to contribute just let us know, you can leave donations out and we can pick them up when we collect your dog. Below is a list of things needed, please DO NOT leave dried dog food, they have more than enough and have nowhere to store any more. Items needed are-
🧑🏼‍🎄 Wet dog and cat food.
🧑🏼‍🎄 Dog and cat treats.
🧑🏼‍🎄 Very big, strong black bags/bin liners.
🧑🏼‍🎄 Disinfectant.
🧑🏼‍🎄 Laundry powder/liquid.
🧑🏼‍🎄 Blankets/duvets and towels (these do not have to be new, they are for dogs in kennels so warmth is key 👍).

Well we didn't make it to Amsterdam, the trip was unfortunately postponed, we did get plenty of wallpaper stripping done though! Rachel will still be taking tomorrow off as I had already planned quite a few appointments planned that I haven't gotten round to 😊

That's the last day of Jessie's working week done as it's moving day tomorrow 💃
We are currently sat on a camping mattress and using bubble wrap as back support.

There are 2 types of dogs in this world, the dogs who don't care 1 bit about the weather and then you have the Jaspers, if your dog is a Jasper and really hates bad weather please don't make us drag them out. We want our walks to be fun and for your dog to enjoy them. We can always do toilet pop ins if you think this would suit your dog better 👍
