I'm Hayley (for those that don't already know or guessed!) and I am the sole trader of Hayley's Hounds. Providing your dog with a high quality one to one grooming session in a personal, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. My services include:-

*ONE TO ONE WITH YOUR DOG

Please be aware if your dog

is matted this may incur an extra charge for de-matting. It is very unfair to put your dog through this stressful and painful procedure, so in some extreme cases it maybe advised to strip your dog right down and start again from scratch. As I work alone and need my body to last for at least another 30years I'm afraid I have to have a maximum size dog that I will groom.

Hello to all!! This feels like it's been a lifetime coming I can tell ya!!
Notice of holidays (yeeee haaaaa!! 🤣) Well I used to say "The salon will be closed from ........" hmmm what do I say now I'm mobile? 🤔🤣
The van will be parked up (😁) from Friday 19th April and the handbrake won't be released again until Monday 29th April. Any calls/messages will be returned at my earliest opportunity when I return. Please be aware, missed calls alone will not be returned 😔.
There are minimal appointments left for April so please try to book early or rebook at the time of your current appointment to avoid disappointment.

Well that's it, keys have been handed in. My salon is no more 😞. I am now a fully fledged MOBILE 🚐 dog groomer.
All I need is to be able to park my fully kitted out van outside your home and plug into an electric socket and away we go ✂️🐾😁.
Nearly 25 years experience in grooming.

Right then, now that everyone who needs to know, knows, I'm excited to announce Hayley's Hounds Dog Grooming is....
GOING MOBILE!
Over 20 years of grooming and 10 years in the shop, I'm closing it and becoming a mobile dog groomer, eeeeek 😱!
Sad to leave the salon but excited to see what 2024 has in store.
Keeping everything crossed it works 🤞 if it doesn't, dole queue here I come 🫤
To those coming on the journey with me, thank you for your continued loyalty and support and I can't wait to give this a go! To those that can't, I'm sure you have your own good reason why not. I'll be sad to see you go and sorry you won't be part of this journey with me and I wish you well🙂

** NOTICE OF PRICE INCREASE **

* To take effect from Monday 2nd October 2023 *

I've held off as long as possible but because of the cost of living crisis and rising energy prices etc, in order for me to stay in business and to allow me to carry on offering you an elite one to one, cage free, friendly and personal dog grooming service, I have no option than to raise my prices.
I've done my utmost to keep the increase to a minimum and while the increases vary, none of them will exceed £3.50.
Most of the smaller breeds, Shih Tzus, Westies, Yorkies etc are +£2.50. Medium breeds ie spaniels +£1.50. Cockerpoos and any doodles are +£3.50 (those 'poos that have joined me quite recently, your cost won't change).
All prices are based on clip offs and styled heads, ears and tails.
Price to be arranged for coats wanting some length left on ie 'teddy' trims

* POLITE NOTICE *
I will NOT dematt any tatty/knotted/matted coats. If I can't get a comb through your dogs coat, then he/she will be clipped off. If this isn't something you want then the dog will be sent home 🫤 If another groomer will dematt, great!!...... I won't 😊.

Going forward, if your unsure of your new price, please don't hesitate to contact me for confirmation 😊.
I fully understand the new prices won't suit everyone's budget and I will be sad to see you go 😞

Would you believe I'm giving another holiday notice!! Oh yessa!
The salon will be closed from finishing work Friday 16th June and will re-open Monday 26th June.
There are limited appointments available before the 16th, so if you think the pooch is gonna need a pamper before the 26th, you really need to hurry to get that appointment booked 🙂

Horrible, gloomy, wet weather so probably the last thing on your mind but there's still a couple of spaces available next week for the dog walking service. So you can stay in, keep snuggled up and dry and leave the dirty work to me 😁.
