Doodles dog walking I offer dog walking, doggy daycare and dog boarding (gateshead council licence number 072591) services in the North East area of England.

I'm a dog walker and dog sitter based in the gateshead area of the North East of England. I cover walks in the Sunderland area. I have many years experience in handling dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. There's no dog too big or small. I am fully licensed with gateshead council for day care and home boarding. I have public liability insurance and a police check. My services include - sho

rt stops (15 mins) for toilet breaks and water refills, 30 mins walk, 1 hour walk, 2 hour hikes, daycare and home boarding. Anything you else you require just ask.

I have the diary open till 5pm for next weeks days and any boarding required.
We are back to normal days and times next week.
I will be handing out my holidays next week as there has been some slight changes.

Our Christmas jumper crew today.
Loki, lily and pepper.
I just want to thank all my wonderful clients so much for their kindness and generosity this year.
I'll send monthly payments tomorrow as its last day of the year for walkies and daycare.
I will have next year's diary on me tomorrow while waiting for Jesse out of hospital if anyone knows their days or is looking to book boarding (remember 40% deposit is required).
Walks and daycare will all return normal Thursday 2nd January.

Last walks and daycare before Christmas are Friday 20th December.
First walks and daycare back are Thursday 2nd January.

Tuesday we will be closing daycare early due to bonfire night.
If your dog is particularly anxious around the fireworks please let me know in advance.
Anyone needing after 4pm Tuesday is welcome to collect from my house but we will not be out any later.

Boarding booking reminder!
Boarding bookings ARE NOT confirmed without 40% deposit to secure your dates.
I have a lot of "pencilled in" requests for the end of this year and summer next year.
Your dates will not be held until deposit is paid and are allocated on a first come first served basis.
I'm licensed to board 4 of your dogs at time and once these spaces are gone they are gone.
Just to avoid any upset.
Everyone has already signed and agreed to my terms and conditions.
Any problems regarding bookings just let me know.
I wouldn't want any issues to arise.

If your dog is showing any signs of illness please do not send them on daycare or walks.
Bugs can be easily passed through the gang and I do walk elderly and unwell dogs so they need to be considered.
Dogs can not be walked with the runs, sickness, kennel cough, conjunctivitis and anything else.
There is no charge for late cancellation for illness. It's better to keep everyone safe.
Garden visits can be arranged.

Daycare spaces are available on Mondays and Wednesdays!
Walking spaces are available sr2 side of the water.
Boarding availability is limited and bookings have already been taken for next year.
Please remember boarding dates are not secured until 40% deposit is received.
Ad hoc walks and daycare, please get days to me by Friday 3pm for the following week.
Weekly payments are also due Friday by 3pm.
Remember as the hot weather continues daycare and walks will be shorter to ensure your dogs safety.

It's VERY hot today so there will be no 1 hour walks.
Comfort breaks and garden pop ins only and my decision is final on this.
If you have fans etc you'd like me to put on or cool mats to get out drop me a message with where to find them.
No dog died from missing a walk, but dogs have died from being walked in the heat.
Keep them in, keep them cool and keep them safe.

This afternoon we saw blue skies and some sun!!!!! Absolutely lovely walk with some long standing friends 🐶🐾

The boss is always bringing up the rear making sure that we are all present and correct 😍

When you get the walk to yourself with daycare freddie and Millie!!! Nice, relaxed and stress free for all the hairy ones.

So I guess Oscar lives with me now.....

So in my opinion this is a group of well socialised dogs that have been introduced to each other correctly. They are happy and content in each others company and respect each other and don't feel the need to dive on each other constantly. Yes the dogs in my care get play time when it is appropriate but certain situations call for calm time and on lead time too. Just because a dog is friendly DOES NOT mean it is well socialised. When its time to leave the field but these 2 have other ideas.......

As we are heading in to second lockdown no dogs walked by myself will be allowed off lead. This is to maintain social distancing with other people walking dogs. If your own dog does not have 100% recall then please do not let them off lead. If your dog runs up to other dogs please do not let them off lead. Not only are you putting your own dog in danger of being bitten but during a pandemic you are putting yourself and the other dog walker at risk and in danger! You also don't know the circumstances of the other dogs. They could be nervous, in training, fear aggressive or maybe they just won't like your dog. During these horrible times i just dont think it's worth the risk. Stay safe everyone. Hopefully we will see the other side some day soon.
