Sea Glass found on the beach near Bumblebee Retreat. Quite a few guests book in espically to go looking for glass.

The caravan is currently closed due to the drop in temperatures. Chris drained it down for me to prevent any freezing pipes/floods.

It is with great sadness I will no longer be offering "Mates rates" at Bumblebee Retreat. Bookings will have to go via Airbnb. I recieved 2 complaints about this weekends guests. They had absolutely no consideration for my neighbours, no respect for me or my property. I feel so disappointed that someone would treat myself and van with such disregard. I work my socks off to make it a special place to chill out and enjoy the homely touches and quality fittings that people have come to love. Jumping on my new mattress until 2am and climbing in and out of my windows is NOT what Bumblebee Retreat is all about. It seems they couldn't even flush the lavatory to add insult to injury. Needless to say, they won't be going back!!!

Next project at Bumblebee Retreat is new curtain poles & curtains in the lounge which will go up this week. It looks unrecognisable since the day I got the keys!

The current state of Bumblebee Retreat after the flood. Its starting to dry out eventually thanks to the dehumidifiers I've borrowed.

I've had the heating on all ready for my next guests. Having spent a few days in a 'luxury' Cottage for Christmas...it was so nice to get back to Bumblebee Retreat. The Cottage was so disappointing. The boiler kept going off, I was unable to use my shower, the log burner was out of Service.....etc etc etc. So annoying!!
