Been a little quiet on here 🤦🏼♀️ but I’m back to it with a busy few months of Backing Liveries coming in.
First up is pony Maisy 🥰 here she is being a star ⭐️ she will continue with long line work around the yard and finish the week lining out into the big wide world 🌎

Not only does Queenie have the moves 💃🏼she also has a little jump too 😍
To sell or to produce for a little rider???🤔🤭
Great to be back out even though I’m the one stood on the sidelines practicing my filming skills🎥 due to injury 🤕🩼
Michael did a great job of piloting Ella round the Newcomers for a DC 👍🏻

Literally the best investment we made to the yard 😃 Used everyday throughout summer ☀️ & winter ❄️
Love seeing the horses play 🥰
Ella’s first Foxhunter since returning from her injury, unfortunately we lowered a pole after a bit of an over jump which meant we ran slightly out of room to the vertical.
This years faultless run had to end some time but it was nice to be jumping some bigger fences again and hopefully next year bigger and better rounds await 🤞🏻
🎥 short clip of her thinking she was in the 1.30 class 🤦🏼♀️

Little clip of Backing Livery Darcie’s first solo trot around the arena. The next few weeks she’ll start gentle hacking and experiencing more of the outside world before returning home. 😊
Lovely evening solo hack for Mac 🌅 😄
⭐️ Ella continued her consistent form today with another dc & 2nd placing 🥈 this time in the 1.10 class.
Her rounds are back to being a consistent rhythm ….can’t wait for her to hopefully get back to the level she was at a few years ago 😃

That show was worth the late finish 😃
🐴 Ella dc to win the class 🥇
The last few years I’ve had the opportunity to jump at international shows aboard thanks to the encouragement and support of my trainer.
I’m grateful to of being able to learn a lot and also from my own past mistakes.
Too often horses are rushed up the levels because they have the ability in them to jump the bigger classes but they aren’t jumping consistently or confidently to do so, but people do it anyway either because they want to jump the bigger classes or they feel the judgement or pressure to do so.
✔️Yes Ella has jumped at a higher level before her injury
But no I won’t be rushing her to get back there. I’ll only move her up when she’s jumping with Rideability, consistency and confidently. I feel after another consistent round yesterday that she and I are ready to move up a class 😃

That’s Breaking Livery George first hack completed ✅
Early start to avoid the the heat 🥵
George was his usual chilled self. When asked he confidently lead the way and not remotely bothered about meeting our neighbours cows on the home route 🐮

Second little play of loading our yearling Dotty🚛 Walked straight on, she stood and ate her dinner before unloading. All chilled and done in a calm fashion with no stress 👍🏻
