🦎 NEW IN - BLUE RIVER CRESTIE FOOD 🦎

Blue River Diets are a brand of expertly crafted Crested Gecko foods with six flavours that smell deliciously fruity and are nutritionally complete: strawberry, mango, watermelon, apple, peach and fruit 'n' bug.

The complete foods are made from 100% natural ingredients and deliver the full nutritional profile required by Crested Geckos in captivity. This removes the need for additional supplementation and ensures that every keeper is providing their animal with everything that the gecko needs in every feed. As well as fruit, vitamins, minerals and calcium, Blue River Diets also add honey and bee pollen to increase the palatability of the foods and to better replicate the experiences of wild Crested Geckos.

As a species that will typically feed on fruits and pollinating insects, Crested Geckos will naturally ingest pollen and benefit from its antioxidant properties.

Blue River Diets recommends that keepers continue to feed live insects as these have many additional benefits: exercise during 'hunting' to maintain healthy muscle tone, provide enrichment and encourage natural behaviour. The insects will also provide some additional fat and protein to the diet.

The diet can also be fed to other geckos with similar dietary needs, such as the New Caledonian Giant gecko, Mossy gecko and the Gargoyle gecko.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Mix 2 parts water to 1 part formula and stir. More water can be added to achieve the desired consistency. Remove any uneaten food after 24 hours. Mixed food can be refrigerated in a sealed container and disposed of after 7 days.

Those of us with anxious pets know the stress suffered particularly around November 5th, and the party season up to Christmas and then the New Year. Your pet may also be anxious around thunderstorms, other animals or visitors, or perhaps you just have a reactive dog, one that suffers from separation-anxiety, or are introducing a new pet to the household, have busy family / friend festive-gatherings on the calendar, or are socialising a new puppy?

To help you and your pet during these times, 'Pet Remedy' have introduced a special 'Party Season Survival Kit', which contains three handy 'Pet remedy' wipes, a plug-in diffuser as well as a handy 'Pet Remedy' spray bottle. These products are also available separately.

The wipes and the spray bottle can be used on your hands to wipe over the pet's muzzle, under their chin and on their chest, or on a bandana for dogs. They are a handy size to pop into your bag when out and about, and can be re-applied as needed.

The plug-in diffuser should be positioned in the room where your pet spends most of their time.

The 'Pet Remedy' products contain natural, essential plant oils and are therefore harmless to your pet, but can help them to feel calm and therefore more open to learning new behaviours that will increase your pet's confidence in dealing with stressful situations, using positive reinforcement.

🐹🐹 GORGEOUS ROBOROVSKI HAMSTERS NOW IN🐹🐹
These small hamsters (about 2" long!) make fascinating, active little pets that are great fun to watch - nocturnal by nature, they will need a hide to sleep in with some soft bedding. They can be kept in same-sex pairs or small groups, as long as they have been raised together. Like all hamsters, they need ways to exercise in their enclosure, so we recommend 'flying-saucer' wheels, chew toys and natural fruit branches to chew. Some soft hay or shredded paper can also be placed around their enclosure to keep them busy at night!

🐟🐟BEAUTIFUL AMERICAN CICHLIDS IN STOCK 🐟🐟

These fish can grow up to 30cm in length, and are best kept with other same-species Cichlids. They require a temperature of 24 to 26 C and can eat a range of food from flake to bloodworm when young.
