Last session of our five week reactivity workshop. What a change in all dogs involved, stress free owners and neutral dogs. Next stage will be to join us on our in public pack walks so as to take things to another level. Relationship and Clarity are everything 🙏🙏

Four sessions into a five session reactivity class. These guys will soon link into our real life socialisation and neutrality walks in public. A month ago most of these couldn’t be in the presence of other dogs at all. They’re smashing it 💪🏻.

Just an update on where these two are at, almost mates 😂. Stumpy had a pre op scan yesterday that resulted in some great news. They are hoping that the issue can be sorted without splitting his pelvis 😁. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞

From the runt of the litter who very nearly didn’t make it, to the cracker he is now.
What a journey it’s been mate, in spite of all that you’ve been through there is always a smile on your face.

Flashback to Khaleesi doing her thing, teaching this over excited young GSD some social skills.

I truly believe he learnt more from this interaction than he did from me during the session.

Another 👏👏👏👏

Putting a dog down and condemning them to death because you refuse to use any method that isn't "positive only" isn't very positive...

Sedating a dog into a zombie because you don't like other training tools isn't very positive...

Restricting a dog to a confined life without the chance to thrive isn't very positive...

Telling someone to put down their 8 month old working line dog for having lots of energy and acting like an 8-month-old working dog isn't very positive...

Guilting a young family that lives in an apartment into adopting a large dog with behavior issues isn't very positive...

Telling an older lady their dog would be better off dead then using a prong collar that helps her walk and control her dog isn't very positive....

Bashing other trainers because they don't train dogs using only one method isn't very positive...

Having an owner put a 5 month old puppy on 400mg of trazadone isn't very positive...

Harming dogs because of your own ego isn't very positive...

All of the things I just listed are REAL things that owners have dealt with by "certified positive only trainers and behaviorists."

Anyone can be certified online for $50. It means nothing.

Dogs and their humans deserve real trainers who care and emphasize for both ends of the leash. Trainers who will tailor training to each dog in front of them. Don't be fooled by the "positive" sounding approach. That's just fancy marketing from people who care more about their ego and lining their pockets rather than helping the dog community.

I've chosen to speak out on this because I care and hate seeing dogs harmed. The positive only cult is doing more harm than good to dogs. Dogs and owners that are already having a difficult time. Enough is enough.

You might notice that some of the Pack Walks on our site will have PR at the end, what does that mean?

PR Pack Walks function just like our regular Pack Walks: they are open to customers and priced the same as usual. These walks provide an opportunity for our team to come together and promote our business. During PR Pack Walks, you can expect multiple team members to participate, not just the usual staff member overseeing that location. This will enhance your experience with the presence of more trainers. Please be aware that since this is a PR event, photos and videos will be taken for social media and our website. PR Walks are held every 4 to 5 weeks and will vary by location.

CHEATING IS ALLOWED 😁😁

Had the pleasure of of working with this young lad today. Leash manners and dog reactivity being the issues. My objective is always to communicate in the least aversive way and with the least amount of conflict. Identifying the correct tool to walk him on, and most importantly, taking as much time as is needed to condition it is vital. The way the dog perceives certain triggers is everything in changing the way it acts. Comparing the first and last clip with the owner and dog is what I’m looking for, an understanding and relationship between the two of them 💪🏻💪🏻 Massive progress in this first session, can’t wait to meet up again 😁😁 As you can see, Khaleesi survived the encounter 🙏🙏

Impulse control

Quick session with 9 month old Stumpy this evening, took the opportunity to work on and proof his impulse control with the help from some of the local kids. Neutrality is everything. The lad did great. Every day is a training day 😁😁#workyourdogloveyourdog

Family time 🥰

The pups are now 9 months old. So great to be working them all together, have them listening to everything that they are asked of, and as a result having the maximum and safe off lead freedom that all dogs deserve. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

“You get out what you put in”. The majority of these had severe behavioural issues in the past, just love seeing how neutral and stress free they now are. All the credit in the world to the owners of these dogs, for sticking with it and putting the hard work in 🙏

Quick update on how these guys are getting on. Those of you that know these two will get why this means so much to me. Six months of structure and advocating for Kai on a continuing basis has led to this. Don’t misread the humping, Shelby is in season at the moment and the big lad has a one track mind 🙈. Still a long way to go but so pleased with the way their relationship is developing 🙏🙏 Patience and consistency is key 👍👍

Lovely session today with these two siblings. Walking our dogs should be a pleasure. As always clear communication to show the right way to behave and with leadership in place is everything. Brilliant customer to work with, took everything on board and I’m sure will put the work in and will smash it out the park 🙏🙏 Stress free and neutral dogs is all that we want 🥰🥰
