Bitter sweet end to our 2024 UK campaign yesterday.

A fantastic run to end what has been a challenging but satisfying end to the competition year with 5 year old Homebred Carica B SSH jumping a classy Newcomers for the most unlucky pole and home produced 6 year old Billy Mont Blanc securing our last Foxhunter double clear for 2025 and placing 4th in a strong class.

Now time to get back to Guernsey, sell the house, regroup and plan for 2025 and beyond.

Thanks to everyone who has supported me and trusted me and picked me up on my down days. I can’t wait to share my journey with you and excited for my string of young horses to have a break and strengthen up!

Massive thanks to all my clients. I’ve been truly overwhelmed by the support I’ve received from you all along with the trust and belief in me to do a good job with your horses. New homes have been found, a professional backing service provided and re-starts done well.

5 year old Carica B SSH owned by myself and Nicky Singleton tackled her first foxhunter yesterday and my own 6 year old Billy Mont Blanc also in the Foxhunter.

So proud of them both can’t wait to get them back out in the New Year after a break.

After a 3am start this morning and months of work - today I qualified as a BS UKCC Level 2 coach.

Excited for the new opportunities this qualification will bring.

- have excellent flatwork to be able to teach competent rider lateral movements.

- excellent and safe to hack in traffic and open spaces

- good to jump occasionally up to 0.90cm max

- 15.3hh to 16.2hh

- mare or gelding

- aged between 5 and 10

- happy to be on a busy livery yard

- turn out without exploding!

- excellent to handle in all aspects

My client is looking for her forever horse and it will want for nothing. Guidance and support provided everyday.

Competent rider but she lacks confidence so horse must be sane and sensible but not a riding school kick along either.
