Thank you @heelsdownheadhigh for this lovely review of 7 Day Mud Away...
"When @nettexequine got in touch with me about this review, it was a quick yes from me. Marley has recently decided he loves a roll and while we aren’t too muddy jut yet he seems to find the best [worst] places to roll!
Winter is on its way and with the dark evening creeping in and replacing my motivation to ride, the last thing you want is to get to the yard to ride and find your horse or pony caked in mud! With the ‘7DMA’ grooming is a breeze as the mud easily lifts away from the horses coat. Turning my body brush into a magic wand and transforming Marley from rough and rugged to ride ready in minutes!
As someone with 2 jobs and an almost pathological hate of the cold, it can be difficult to find the time and motivation to ride so this product has been a huge help saving time in the ‘pre-ride’ routine.
In my opinion, this is a definite winter staple for any equestrians winter grooming kit! It really does what it says on the tin!
A HUGE thank you to Nettex Equine for the opportunity and a new winter fave!

Reality: A mud magnet rolling in the field! 😂
We wouldn’t have it any other way though, would we? Luckily, we can have both! Let’s celebrate the not-so-glamorous side of horse ownership.

After work and a little bit of sweat, it's important to give electrolytes to replace the sodium, chlorides, calcium, potassium and magnesium... which is what horses loses in sweat. These support stamina and recovery and help your horse stay hydrated.
Plus Electrolyte Maintenance Powder is SUGAR FREE!
Here's an interesting fact: Electrolytes aren't just for Summer!
Electrolytes can be used for any form of sweating throughout the year - especially after activities such as a lesson, travelling, competitions, or mock hunting.
When do you most often use electrolytes?
Did you know? In spring and summer, when horses consume the lush grass, the extra starches and sugars ferment in the horses' gastrointestinal tracts. This fermentation affects the balance of bacteria in the GI tract, which in turn can trigger laminitis.
Laminitis is a serious condition and always a risk for all equines, but especially overweight ponies on spring and summer grass. It’s essential to keep a close eye out for any stiffness or reluctance to walk, heat in the feet, general lethargy, or reluctance to get up.
If you have any concerns, then a call to the vet for advice without delay.
