When you make a booking at Scotstoun Small Pet Boarding, you will be given a time to drop off and collect your pet.
I will do my very best to accommodate, but occasionally, your preferred slot may already be taken by someone else. All drop-offs and collections are conducted in the morning between 9am - 12, Monday to Saturday.

As a courtesy, I will send you a reminder of your time slot a day or two in advance.

Please arrive at your appointment on time (just like you would for the doctor or dentist). This is especially important for collections when getting pets into their carrier often needs time, patience, and, sometimes, advance planning!

If you're not going to be on time, please send a message to let me know as this may impact other bookings.
If you are going to be very late (or, rarely, early!), you may need to wait whilst I deal with another customer.

I always allocate some time into your appointment for a brief chat (be this debriefing of your pets stay or simply a 5 minute natter) and would hate to have to cut that short!

It really is a minefield buying a hamster cage - I know, I've been there! The thing is, even though hamsters are small, they are very active and need space to accommodate this.
I'm not sure what the dimensions of the small cage are, but it's clear that it is ridiculously small.
The large cage pictured is a Bucatstate brand, and these are the cages I provide in the boarding room. They measure 100cm x 50cm and have perspex walls, so there's the added bonus that if your hamster is a climber, they can't fall and hurt themselves.
Ideally, your hamster cage should measure at least 100cm x 50cm. There are a few brands available, and Pets at Home are now starting to provide this size of cage (finally!).

Please be aware that if you need boarding, Easter is almost full. Summer is getting booked up, but, at the moment, there is plenty of space available.

A simple cardboard tube filled with treats - Scarlett loves a puzzle! This is obviously sped up but it took her just 4 mins to empty its contents!
