As many of you know, Paul and I are expecting our new addition in the next few weeks! Due to unforeseen circumstances I am having to start maternity leave a little earlier than planned. 😳🙈🥰

I will still attend appointments currently booked in but cannot book any more appointments going forward!

Thank you to you all for being so understanding and I look forward to visiting your little ones again once little miss has made her arrival! I will keep you all posted 🥰☺️

‼️ HOUSE FIRES WHITEHILLS IN EK‼️

I am absolutely gutted to hear about the tragic incident that occurred yesterday in whitehills. I saw on a post someone mentioning that both humans and pets were affected, so I wanted to reach out to see if anyone needs anything pet specific.

I can do a collection of anything needed:

- leads/collars
- harnesses
- beds
- pet food
- food bowls
- toys
- litter trays
- blankets

Etc.

This is Ava who I see on a regular basis for a nail clip. Ava has a lot of energy for such a little one but isn’t a fan of walking (although she does go for daily walks) so her owner decided to find other ways of channeling her energy into something positive. This is her new puzzle treat dispenser 😍 and she certainly has been giving it her all!

Mental stimulation is just as important to your pet as physical exercise and some dogs thrive on solving problems, particularly when there is a food reward at the end 🥘 🤤 it is also a good way to spend time with your pet! There are a number of puzzle activities available for cats and dogs online but if you need any advice, please do not hesitate to drop me a message

I met this BEAUTIFUL boy just over a week ago 🐶😍 Si is an 11 year old GSD and not quite as mobile as he used to be. This means that he’s not able to naturally file his nails down when out for a walk the way younger pups do.

We took it slow clipping and filing his nails, careful not to handle his legs too much in case his joints were a little sore ♥️

He was the best boy 🐶 🐕 💅

Hi everyone!

I have been super quiet on here over the last 6 months and I wanted to take a moment to explain why…

I took on a rescue pup 🐶 about 5 months ago from my work, who was very sick 😞 and needed a significant amount of love and attention ❤️ she was significantly underweight, had some medical issues with her blood work and had no life left in her the day she came home with me. Slowly we reintroduced food feeding her 8-10 small meals a day, and toilet training her (not easy in an 8 month old pup I can tell you!). As I’m sure you can imagine she couldn’t be left alone and she had some behavioural issues (we’ve been in contact with behaviourists) and I had to consider my older girl as well as the pup was a bit of a bully 🤦‍♀️😬 because of everything she had been through. This meant we relied heavily on family to help us (our family are amazing humans) as we both work full time. She’s had a few health issues since but nothing serious (just a little stressful 🤷🏼‍♀️).

Skyler is now 27kg!! A whole 15.6kg HEAVIER than when she came to me. She has an amazing personality, shes learnt NOT TO eat out the bin, drink out the toilet, steal food from the counter, be nicer to her sister, not swallow foreign objects etc. She’s super intelligent and has the will of an ox 🐂. I couldn’t be prouder of her. We still have a long way to go but I know with work and time we will all get there. As a veterinary nurse I often do behaviour consults but I’ll be honest, I had not a scoobie on how to deal with her because I was terrified of failing her. It’s mine and my husband’s responsibility to gain her trust, make her well again and teach her… pretty much everything! And that for me was a lot of pressure, but I can’t believe how far we’ve all come now ❤️ so for all you new puppy 🐶 owners… I feel ya!

But this is why I have been quiet on here 🤫 I’ve still been out and about seeing your furbabys, do not worry! But I’m BACK AGAIN now I’ve regained my sanity 🤣🤦‍♀️ and I have some exciting news coming soon… so watch this space 👀

Hello everyone!

I’m sure you’ve noticed I’ve been a little bit quiet on here the last few weeks… well there was an issue with my page where I was removed as admin from my own page 😬🙈🤷🏼‍♀️ I still have NO IDEA how it happened but it took quite some time to get it fixed!

Now that it is sorted I can get back to visiting all of your little ones 😍🐾 🐶 🐈
