Pixie became a blood donor today! My vets had a wee dog in who needed canine blood from a donor to help make a serum for an eye cyst, and Pixie happily donated 10ml. Hector was 2nd choice, but Pixie pulled her Therapy Dog card out and had the bestest, calmest behaviour and did it without making a peep.

After a pit stop in the river for a good wash, we headed back to Glasgow and the vets. Begbie screamed the place down getting his bloodwork done, and he got lots of chicken for being a brave boy. 💗

Hey everyone! Long time no post! Thought I'd post an update here (I shared on TikTok but I know a lot of you aren't on that platform).

So - I haven't been able to post my usual, up beat, happy go lucky posts due to the ongoing situation of my upstairs neighbours and their Rottwieller, who has a particular interest in me and my dogs.

I had a little barrier gate on my flat door for a while to keep said Rottie away from my door - but it was a nuisance and hassle for us, and caused issues, so I took it away.

Once I did, I noticed my upstairs neighbours allowed their Rottwieller to spend time around my flat door, sniffing, growling, barking - even pawing my door to the point it opened! (My Yale was not latched correctly one night and Jack the Rottwieller must have put two paws up full force, to push my door... - 100% my fault for not making sure my door was closed properly! Who would expect a fully grown Rottwieller to be allowed to throw their full weight against your front door and open it? Again???)

I have daily footage of this beast of a dog losing it's s**t every morning when I leave my home. It goes BALLASTIC as I leave my flat. It runs from the hall, to the bedroom where it cam see us from the street, and it goes NUTS, barking and slabbering at the window when it sees me and my dogs. There are literally slabber marks on the window that you can see from the street (they're 2nd floor btw). I've got some great HD footage...
So... for everyone who has been asking, and messaging on all my platforms - (I apologise for not getting back you all individually)...
Begbie is now having a seizure every time this mutt passes my door.
(EVERY TIME. Did you read that right? Yeah?)
Every time.... my neighbours allow their dog to "investigate" my front door - despite me asking for them to walk the dog on a short lead with the human blocking the dog from my door - dog between them and the stairs rail.
The owners are unable to do this. To be honest, SHE can't control the dog. It's frightening.
Anyway... stay tuned to see if...
The Rottwieller continues to paw my door, bark at my door, stick it's nose at my door OR if the owners realise everything is now a Live Stream 😂

Their dogwalker can pass my door no problem. He's got 100% control and he's able to walk past my door with zero issues and go for a pack walk. Great guy, great handling, awesome dog trainer.

It puzzles me so much as to why THEY (owners) can't just walk past my door.

I've been "advised" by my "vet" and when I say Vet I actually mean Police, because this Rottwieller in question attacked another dog recently at a local Dog Park - Dennistoun Information Pages had this reported? Rottwieller named Jax or Jack? (It's Jack) and the owner went online to say no one had ever EVER complained about their dog, despite the fact I've reported them to the Dog Warden, which is no longer a thing, and the Police due to MULTIPLE times where the Rottwieller has not been under control and posed a threat to myself and my own dogs.. I've been instructed by my "Vet" - *cough* Police at London Road - to install a camera to record the traffic past my door and the resulting triggers.

FYI - the Police will NOT take action unless this dog actually causes physical harm. This is what I've been told...

ALSO - Cannot WAIT to share one of two things which will ultimately happen with you...

1. My upstairs neighbours being consistently unable to control their dog as they walk past my door and the resulting effects on my own dogs caught on the cameras that I now have set up in my hallway

OR...

Suddenly... everything goes quiet and I don't hear a thing... Begbie's seizures stop, and all is well.

I am all out of F***s. I am at a point where the actions of my neighbours dictate the lifespan of one of my own dogs.

Let me say this to my upstairs neighbours... because I can literally see that you view these posts...

I have NEVER had my dogs burst into your house aggressively and in attack mode. (THREE TIMES)

I have NEVER had my dogs chase you aggressively in the street while the owner LIES UNCONCIOUS ON HIS BACK BECAUSE HE'S OUT HIS FACE.

I have NEVER threatened YOU or your dog...

I have NEVER physically threatened you or your partner or your dog because I've been out my t**s on gear and booze.

I have NEVER had the audacity to text you at an unreasonable hour to ask you to let me in the close because my partner won't let me in...

You think that this is acceptable behaviour??

(May 2023 - I was trying to get down my stairs to hang a washing up round the back and "these neighbours" were coming back from the pub, absolutely s**t faced and pished - out their skulls with their aggressive Rottwieller - and wouldn't let me pass them on the stairs - then instructed me to "Get back in your fu***ng box" THEN shouted abuse at me and decided to let your rottie off the lead to "GET ME" and said, and I quote - "See that fu***ng Begbie? He's fu***ng getting it. And you're fu***ng getting it anaw.")

So to all my followers, who are waiting for happy, fun, carefree happy- go- lucky videos and posts...

I can't. Because of this..

Gentle reminder for clients.

Payment for Day Care is required in advance. Ideally on a Sunday when you book/confirm your slots for the coming week.

Please, wherever possible, ensure your dog has been to the toilet before collection for DayCare.

This saves me time and money cleaning up the van after dogs doing the toilet in my van.

Begbie was delighted to see his good pal Betty at Hunterhill Care Home over the weekend. Betty used to have West Highland White terriers and she's always up for cuddles with Begs and Pixie. 💗
