Our day care and boarding is based around a large farm-stead family home surrounded by 4 acres of private grounds that have been separated into different areas for our dogs. We have a secure 1 acre forest, an ultra secure 1 acre walled garden, an agility area, an indoor home-like day care with couches and beds for dogs to relax during the day. At night, our boarders sleep inside our family home with us, in either their crate or on a sofa in one of our living rooms! 🏡💗

It's been a very emotional few months here at Bedlay Gardens Rescue on the run up to the XL bully ban in Scotland. Its a horrible feeling knowing we've done our very best but it's never enough to save all of the dogs who needed us. Tears have been shed.
We owe an overwhelming thank you to our Bedlay Gardens manager, Cj McNeill , who has been a massive advocate for the breed from the very start. You've worked so hard with the homeless bullies every single day. You've been there every step of the way from the long drives, early mornings, training sessions, cleaning up, meets with potential adopters. You've even opened your home to a new bully pup yourself, and bought your first house to with a lovely secure garden to ensure your own dogs safety and freedom from the society that discriminates against them so horribly.
We owe another massive thanks to our bully volunteers Maximus K9 Services , Karma X Duke , and Erinn Marshall for taking a massive weight off my shoulders and doing the bedtime shift with the bullies (every night for months) giving me enough of a break each day to keep on going and power through the vast number of messages that never seemed to go down. The countless hours you all spent caring for, bonding with & training the bullies has been absolutely invaluable in helping them become the excellent dogs they are today and secure the homes where they are now very much loved & cherished.
A massive thanks to my mum, Diane Kiernan for being surrogate puppy mum for the last few months. Our kitchen has been overrun with homeless pups for so long it's crazy to think what it was even like before. Big thanks to my mum for taking on a huge chunk of the mental load that comes with saving so many puppies. The cleaning up, the washings, the poo!!! 🤮

Pepper is an excitable and affectionate girl who requires an owner who can set clear boundaries to set her up for success. Pepper will thrive in a home with an experienced owner who understands how to communicate with dogs. Pepper is a fantastic dog and will fit in nicely with a dog/child free home. She is so eager to please and will be an absolutely devoted companion to anyone who gives her a chance. Pepper wouldn't be suited to a family household or living with other dogs. She would be best as a single adult/couple's dog who are both experienced and understand how to fulfil her needs.
