WE ARE HIRING!!! 🐈
**Part Time Cat Sitter Wanted**
Salary: £300-£500 p/m
Team Feline Glasgow West are looking for a part-time member to join our small team of cat
sitters on a self-employed basis. We are looking for someone who is highly reliable and organised with a flexible schedule and adores cats! Preferably someone who is based in the west end of Glasgow.
The ideal candidate would be able to work Sunday evenings, Mondays & Tuesdays specifically, and be open to possibly taking on more work throughout the week and during our busier peak times such as holiday weekends and over Christmas. There is the potential to earn double-time on certain days over the festive period, however this can be discussed further during the interview.
Visits are carried out between 8am – 12pm and 4pm – 8pm and the volume of visits in each schedule can vary. Keys must be collected and dropped off from a central location in the west end before and after visits.
Good physical health is important as the bulk of the visits will be carried out on foot so ideal for someone who loves walking! A good knowledge of public transport is also beneficial when travelling further distances between visits. The areas we cover are predominantly postcodes G3, G11, G12 and G20 so extremely localised.
The candidate must have a good quality phone with internet to be able to use Google Maps, WhatsApp, take high quality photos of pets to send to clients, and gain access to our online cat sitting app containing detailed pet information and schedules.
You would be working as a self employed contractor so would be responsible for dealing with your own tax and national insurance.
The successful candidate should possess the following attributes:
• A genuine love of cats with a good understanding of their needs and behaviour.
• Flexible and hardworking.
• Dedicated, reliable and trust worthy.
• Responsible and organised and able to follow detailed instructions.
• Quick to think on their feet.
• Good time-keeping.
• Independent and happy to work alone.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Has a good rapport with people.
• Takes pride in their work and leaves things clean and tidy.
• Able to plan their schedule and routes ahead of time so as not to over-run our visiting hours.
• Good physical health is important for walking to and from cat visits and lifting
heavy bags of cat litter.
We are looking for the ideal candidate to be able to start working with us from next month having passed disclosure checks.
