We could get used to this glorious weather can't beat hard frost 🥶 and then the sunshine, dogs were all enjoying chases and exploring our new path, Bailey was taking the laid back approach and was happy sniffing every inch of new ground we took.🥶😉💕🌞🐾🐾🐾

A foggy damp start this morning. Dogs were enjoying the new smells and we bumped into Daisy dogs and had the best time exploring.

This afternoon the sun was shining the sky was blue and the dogs had a ball. Perfect way to end the week.x

There will no doubt be Fireworks Friday Saturday and Sunday so please keep these points in mind :

1: walk your dog in daylight hours only.
2: if necessary after dark take your dog out to the garden on lead. Ensure the collar is secure and not loose. Even what seems like a secure gardens can be escaped from when a dog is fearful
3: if you don't have a garden walk near your home on a lead. No matter how good your dogs recall is, when the get a scare they will run and likely head home so leave your gate open.
4: ensure your dog has an ID tag on their collar with your name and telephone number.
5: keep curtains, blinds etc closed. Lights on around the house and TV up loud. Classic FM radio rated highly to help sooth dogs during fireworks.
6: make a den for your dog. A crate covered in dark blankets or make a tent. Make some licky mats, fill a long or hide treats in the den to keep them distracted.
7: don't react when you hear fireworks start as dogs can feed on your anxiety
8: don't worry if your dog doesn't eat. Have access to food and water but anxiety can reduce appetite.
9: a buff - like a neck scarf - can be wrapped around your dogs ears to reduce noise.
10: wrapping your dog in a blanket and having them beside you ( or you climb into the den) can give your dog some security.

Most dogs aren't affected by fireworks but for those who are it can be a very worrying and scary time for both owner and dog. Be mindful if setting off fireworks in your own garden. Noise free fireworks are available and much less scary but just as wonderful to watch 🎆🎇❤️

We got another soaking this afternoon the dogs still had the best time plenty zoomies with Daisy Dog Adventures and exploring through the forest.

What a horrible day weatherwise to start off November , the dogs however carried on as normal and enjoyed splashing about as the braes was one big puddle.

Nice and fresh this morning for our walks we were enjoying new smells and plenty zoomies we bumped into daisy dogs near the end of our walks so stopped to say hello before heading back to van for treats
