We’re making it easier than ever to keep your pets protected!

To help you stay on top of vaccinations, we’ve partnered with RSVP, a trusted call centre team and have set up a dedicated Vaccination Booking Service. This service will be reaching out to you on our behalf to offer convenient booking options for your pet’s vaccination appointments. You’ll receive a friendly reminder call, so you can easily schedule an appointment at a time that suits you best!

This partnership allows us to focus more on providing excellent care, while the Vaccination Booking Service ensures no vaccinations are missed. Feel free to book directly with us, or simply look out for the call from our new service!

We are proud to have our own in-house Pain Management Clinics with Vet Kirsty. Kirsty has a certificate in Western Veterinary Acupuncture and Chronic Pain Management as is here to help any painful pets feel as comfortable as possible! 🐾

Pain Management Clinics are an opportunity to thoroughly discuss your Pet's painful condition and look at a variety of options to help this; including medicinal, home changes, acupuncture and more.

Acupuncture involves piercing the body with fine, atraumatic needles and stimulating the body's own natural pain relieving mechanisms. It can be a wonderful addition to a pain management protocol for conditions such as osteoarthritis, and especially in cases where adding in additional medication is not a possibility. Kirsty has done additional training to allow her to perform this on animals at the practice.

We are excited to offer our Pet Health Club members an exclusive discount on the Pain Management Clinic. Essentials plan members will continue to receive 10% off, while PHC Plus members will save 15%!

Pain Management Clinics generally run on Tuesdays, but other days may be available on request at our sister practice Struthers & Scott Veterinary Practice in Doune.

⚠️🐾 IMPORTANT UPDATE - DOG BOOSTERS LEPTO 4 ⚠️🐾

We are moving over from Lepto 2 to Lepto 4 vaccines. The manufacturers of the Lepto 2 vaccine have decided to discontinue this product. This means any dogs currently vaccinated with Lepto 2 will need to restart their vaccines this year.
What do you need to know?
- The new vaccine will allow a better cover against Leptospirosis (as it covers 4 strains rather than 2)
- Two vaccines will be given, exactly 4 weeks apart. Please bear this is in mind when scheduling your booster this year as there is no wiggle room in the product license.
- There is no additional cost for the second vaccine, usual booster price applies.

We will post some further information in the next couple of days. Don't worry, reception will keep you right when you are booking in!

Happy New Year from all of us at Jackson Vets! Just a reminder that we will be logging off from 5pm this evening until 830am on Friday. We hope that you do not need any veterinary attention over the next few days, but should you find yourself in need just call our phone number and you will be directed to either Vet 999 based at Broadleys Veterinary Hospital in Stirling or Vets Now Pet Emergency Hospital Glasgow in Glasgow. Thank you for all of the pats and cuddles throughout the year and for letting us help your furry family when needed, From the Jackson Vets family to your family.
