🥳🥳🥳 Marble Hatchets are Back 🥳🥳🥳 After what seems like an age our Hatchets are back 🥳 These adorable and quirky fish like to spend most of their time near the surface and are great companions for small peaceful fish. Come and check them out at Fishkeeper Braehead 💙 Don’t forget we’re open until 7pm every Thursday until Christmas 🎅🏻

Our Bamboo Shrimp seem to be enjoying a gossipy Sunday brunch 😂 These large shrimp use their Fans (chelae) to catch microscopic particles of food, much like a fishing net 🦐😋🦐 We could watch them all day, what do you think of them? 💙

It’s afternoon snack time at Fishkeeper Braehead but we’re not sure where all these Kuhli loaches have come from 🤔 We could have sworn there were only 3 in the tank 😂 they are masters of hide and seek until food shows up 🫣😂

Lionfish 🦁🐠 may seem like very docile and slow fish but as you can see they are impressive hunters. They have a hunting success rate of 74% which is much more than the 18% for their name sake lions 🦁 I guess you can’t judge a fish by its swimming 🤎💛🤎
