It’s holiday time and I’m in Shropshire and Richard off elsewhere. Been in my happy place today. All orders from this week shall be fulfilled early next week. Now, where’s that glass of wine.

Hazel what have you done? Hazels bed needs some more beans inside of it. She’s not had a top up for 18 months. You can see here that’s she’s popped her cover off as well (because if needs refilling)Let’s see if she can be more comfortable later.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU SEE A UNION FLAG ON A PRODUCT?
How often have you seen this flag on a product and assume it was made in the UK. That's what it gives the opinion of doesn't it? How often though do you check? More frequently we are seeing this but unfortunately far too often the items are only designed in the UK - manafacturing taking place in factories all over the world. At Barka Parka we have always and always will be proudly made in Somerset. We may be small but we are determined to make a product that will last a lifetime and that we can guarantee our craftsman ship we are designed in the UK but we are ACTUALLY MADE IN THE UK TOO.

What happens when steal 5kg of cat food. You get a very sore tummy. Poor Scout has not been feeling very well today.

Such very sad news this morning.

We’ve always said when it comes to our dogs their health and well being is paramount and we want to be honest with you all at this difficult time
Max had another major vestibular attack last night and has taken to the emergency vets. He’s home now and very sleepy.
Our very special boy has been diagnosed with a brain tumour and whilst some medication may help his condition, at his age we won’t be looking at any invasive procedures nor will we prolong any suffering on his part.
Please we ask we need time to come to terms with this heartbreaking and devastating news, my boy is over fourteen and a half and we know what the final outcome will bring.
We would ask you please do not private message us, we will let you know how things progress from this page.

After spending the last 5 days selling our products in person today I've reflected. Our beds really are the 🐝 knees. So many people commented on how they love the fast change covers, love the fact they can be water proof, love our colours. We know that dogs love a bean bed - they really are comfortable, we're also not expensive. How many beds do you buy a year for your dog? Why not buy one that will last the lifetime of the dog? Can you show me another bed that you can totally strip apart like ours? That has a lifetime warranty? That can be filled with plastic free beans? Next time you need a dog bed, try one of ours. You won't use anything else after.
