Super sunny today , so many think their dogs urgently need “scalped” as the dogs can’t cope in the heat. Please dont be panicking as they don’t need cut “right” back. The coat is designed to protect them from the heat and the cold .

Dogs coats are very clever just like the dogs. . Dogs know when to go in and out the sun. They enjoy a bit of sun just like we do.

A dog will only struggle in the sun for two reasons , 1) they can’t escape from the sun and have been in it too long ( just like humans) or 2) they are overweight.

Let them enjoy the sun but let them always have access to water and shade. They will go back and forth.

Here is the proof. 2 full wool coated pups lying happily in the sun and have been for a good hour and it’s roasting. They have access to shade and water and potter back and forth at their leisure. 🥰😍

Paws n Plays is an all weather dog park were you can exercise your dogs in a safe area with no worries . Mud free environment for dogs to exercise in. A place were nervous dogs or dogs with poor recall skills can run around without being distracted.

Wee photo of Milo. I struggle to get time to take photos a lot but I had a wee minute today so grabbed a quick snap. He is a wee cutie eh? 🥰❤️

Just wanted to post a gentle reminder if you are not booked in we cannot guarantee you a space within a couple weeks. Thankfully 99% of you are always booked in way ahead multiple appointments but I had to sadly turn away two generally regular customers today as I couldn’t fit them in during the next couple weeks and both dogs were overdue their cuts.

I promise I do always try my best but if we are full our hands are tied unfortunately. 🙏🙏❤️🥰

❤️🏆 Thank you , thank you all so much for yet another year with a nomination for the Fife retail business awards. We are so grateful. We really are.

We didn’t continue with the entry the last few years and we won’t again this year as by the time you pay the entry fee (you have to pay to accept the nomination) and pay for 2 people to go to the ceremony it’s well over £300.

As most of you know we support a few local charities , the food bank and the Christmas appeals every year and we are grateful as always when these nomination comes in, the last time we did go we did win it.

We are grateful to everyone for keeping our business so successful and running mostly at full capacity all year due to our loyal, lovely clients, because of this we would again like to instead give a donation to the charities we support from the business and clients. Just a wee friendly reminder/notice:

WE take cash or bank transfer payment.

For those paying by bank transfer can I politely ask that it’s paid ON or BEFORE collection! Not later that day, when you get home ,that night or a week later. 🤪

Honestly you would be surprised how bad peoples memories are and mine is as bad.

They forget, I forget to remind or I can’t find it (not that I should have to remind people and Asda doesn’t let me pay later)
We even have had a few that haven’t paid till their next groom then they question if I’ve got it wrong and I’m standing embarrassed because they have forgotten 😅 So going forward bank transfer is by arrangement and payment is BEFORE or ON collection sadly with no exception.

I’m just way too busy to keep it up and with a shockingly bad memory myself.
