Puppies 4 days old!!! They are doing fantastic! Lighter pup has been dubbed honey junior (corey calls her chungus) and darker pup is dubbed Lucky.

Unfortunately hon only had two puppies and they now both have homes (one with us) thank you so much for following our journey upto now and please follow the babies progress I think these babies will need lots of love and support going forward. X###x

Day 61, still digging in whelping box and quite restless walking around, loose stools etc all good signs, hopefully soon we will have some babies to cuddle :)

Hi all, day 60 no signs yet, I thought something might happen last night as honey was pacing and digging and going in her whelping box but nothing since. Keeping my eye on her today as I've got a feeling about today! 🤞🤞🤞

Start of week 9 only 7 says to go and Honey has had a little hair cut 🤭🤭🤣🤣🤣🤣 I didnt want to trim all the underside of her, the area towards her tail are all quite close together so I completely trimmed that with number 1 on the clippers (which both her and the puppies both seemed to throughly enjoy judging that hun fell asleep and the pups were going crazy) but her other breast are more in between her fore legs so I didnt quite know what to do, I couldn't trim the whole area so I kinda made crop circles!!! 🥰🥰😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤭🤭🙃👽

Final week development update we begin our 9th and last week on monday. Puppies could arrive and survive at any point past monday but I have been given the dates 14th to 19th with dating scan saying 17th.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE PUPPIES
+ Growth and Development continues
CHANGES IN THE BITCH
+ Nesting behavior may be seen
+ Bitch may become distressed (panting, pacing, acting uncomfortable)
+ When temperature drops significantly, puppies should be born within 24 hours
+ Appetite may disappear as whelping approaches
CARE OF THE BITCH
+ Start taking temperature three times a day
TO DO LIST
+ Make sure your phone’s battery is loaded (if you have cordless phone or mobile)
+ Keep detailed records on temperature and behavior of bitch
+ Double check that whelping supplies are ready

not much room left in her tum now!!! honey was sick after her breakfast this morning which means i need to reduce the amount and add another meal. so up to now we have breakfast. brunch. lunch. tea and supper. also it had oily tuna in so i think thats a bit rich for her now. also as a cute aside, every time a pup moves about she starts wagging her tail!!!! how cute is that?! we love them already!!!!
