🐾 Information for 2022🐾
Sorry for the lack of updates recently, but after much consideration, I’m sorry to let you know that I will be retiring from home boarding and closing Ziggys Digs, and no new bookings will now be taken.
It’s been a very difficult decision and not one made lightly, as I’ve had 10 busy years in total next year of welcoming our doggy guests into our home on a regular basis, that’s a lot of dogs that have passed through our door and a lot of dog walks too, so it will definitely seem strange not having the usual busyness in the house!
My current 3 year licence expires at the end of 2021, and I won’t be renewing this time. The challenges facing travel and holidays inevitably affect me, with many cancellations over the last 2 yrs.
This situation is still continuing, with bookings having to be cancelled and little confidence in planning forward.
So for this and other reasons too, I’ve decided it’s now time for a change, to move on, and to look forward to new chapters for not just myself, but for my family too.
I have really enjoyed the company of all the amazing dogs that have boarded with us, there have been lots of fun, happy times. Sometimes difficulties, sadness and illness along the way but ultimately I have made some wonderful relationships with our dogs and become very attached, so I know I will miss them and all their personalities!
Thank you to all customers past and present for your support over the years it has been very much appreciated and has meant so much, and for sharing and trusting me with your precious dogs too, as part of our family.
There are a very small number of bookings already planned for early next year. I will be here for these, as per licensing regulations allow ( if still required!)
Customers with an upcoming booking, please let me know if your holiday plans are cancelled due to the ongoing Covid restrictions and travel changes, and therefore needing to cancel boarding for your dog, thank you.
So with a tear in my eyes I say goodbye, and I wish you and your doggies all the best in the future and I hope that we see you out and about with your dogs to say hello.
Seasons Greetings and Best wishes for 2022.
Love from Karen, and the boss Ziggy, and Hugo ( our recently adopted schnauzer).
