Straight from a vet. Ice is OK to cool down dogs but NOT to treat heatstroke.

Come on everyone let’s dispel the stupid ice myth. You can give your dogs ice to keep them cool over the hot days. It DOES NOT cause them to increase their body temperature, it actually KEEPS THEM COOL.

Pop in their bowl or freeze some treats. Don’t put it in their bum to cool them, another stupid myth.

ICE IS GOOD FOR COOLING DOGS, yes it really is (from a vet)

So as the summer heats up its important to keep an eye out for our best buddies. Check out this to plan your activities. No dog has died from not having a walk!

As the van can get very hot I may need to reschedule your dog's groom. This is for their welfare as I always put them first. I will be in touch if this is the case.
