Winter preparations have started, as the leaves fall, wet morning grass, we have started closing in for the winter, wind. Proofing the aviarys, clocks changed for winter lighting hours, hopeful of more of this sunshine & maybe another final grass cut!

Some of our cockatiel flock, enjoying fruit, veg, nuts, seeds & egg food, they cant wait for there daily treats, for wild birds the accept me very close at food, water & inspection times, i love to sit & watch them, such busy birds.

Last clutch being hand reared, its a magical process of development with many pleasing stages, from egg, hatchling, eyes opening, from fluffy down, to pin feathers & weaning, still amazes me after 40 years keeping birds.
