CVS Boogie Nights is off to his next event tomorrow at West Wilts 🤞

Both myself and Pauline are so proud of how far he has already come this season. He’s had an 8 week break from events so we could focus on strengthening and training.

Big thank you to Georgie Goss Eventing for our last XC training session and everything prior! She really has made a great difference to Boogie and my ability to bring on young horses to this level. And confidence XC!! 💪🏻

I am also so very lucky to be supported by LJP Performance and Rehab who has transformed my personal training and the way I look after myself. With the weekly physio sessions and training programs she has provided, I am physically stronger, less achey and overall wayy more confident in my ability to stay in the saddle. And now I’ve probably jinxed it 😜 Thank you Lucie 💚

CVS Boogie Nights 🥰

A couple of weeks ago CVS Boogie Nights, owned by myself and Pauline Holcombe, completed his second competition, this time at 😊

He managed to knock 4% off his previous Dressage score for 31.8. I’m so pleased with his progress, he’s heading in the right direction for a (hopefully) sub 30 score very soon! 🤞

Showjumping he was a little green for 2 down, but he’s only jumped on grass a handful of times and this was the first time the ground was a little choppy. He’ll learn to find his feet!

XC he was fantastic! Clear - I am so so proud of him! I didn’t keep track of time as I just wanted to focus on the jumping, building his confidence and keeping a rhythm. We came over the finish line a little too quick with 1.2 pens.

Boogie 🥰

Big baby Boogie stepped up to compete in his first BE90 competition yesterday at West Wilts. Pauline and I are so so pleased with him! 👏😊

Dressage is a working progress but as he’s such a young, big horse he needs time to develop. We’ve had some great sessions with recently, working on both Boogie and me! Legs are still aching after the no stirrups work on Thursday 🤣

We had a spooky version of the boy for the jumping phases with 1 down in the SJ but a CLEAR XC - thanks to training recently, her voice was in my head throughout the course 😆

Big thank you to my mum for coming out to support us too ❤️

On to Oxstalls next weekend..

🌟 CVS Boogie Nights last weekend 🌟

Boogie jumped 2 brilliant double clears to finish 4th and 5th at Leyland Court Farm, Equestrian Centre in the BN and 95 amateur.

We’ve been focusing on his technique in recent jump lessons with Alan and Georgie Goss Eventing and it’s paying off!

Ponderosa tomorrow to take him round his first Discovery 🤗

Boogie 🥰

🌟 Top 10 finish for CVS Boogie Nights at his first event! 🌟

Boogie was an absolute dude at his first one day event yesterday The Cotswold Cup at Hazleton Manor Equestrian

He remained so calm and focused during the Dressage phase, only having seen dressage boards once before. Definitely have areas to improve on but it’s a very pleasing start!

Showjumping (his first time on grass!) he was a little distracted by things around the outside of the arena. It would definitely have had a different feel to the equestrian centres we are used to jumping at 😂 one fence down which we can live with!

XC he was a little (or rather big…) star ⭐️ understandably having the odd spook at fence judges or people walking the course but CLEAR inside the time 😊 we had such an enjoyable round.

Boogie finished in 8th position and we are so proud of him ❤️

Huge thank you to co owner Pauline Holcombe and my mum Maria Tippett for getting up at the crack of dawn to come and support us 🥰 and Mum for running around the XC course too 😂 🎥

CVS Boogie Nights ❤️

This boy’s off to his first one day event tomorrow at Hazleton Manor Equestrian for part of The Cotswold Cup 🐎

We’re feeling confident and physically good!

🌟 Thank you LJP Performance and Rehab for my treatment today, I feel brand new!

🌟 And thank you Hannah Cox Physio for Boogie’s treatment last week.

Looking forward to the 4am start!
