Week 8 Post Op Update.
Wensleydale is doing really well. Following our recent physio appointment with Dr. Beth, we have Wensleydale lifting his tail high, telling me he feels more comfortable and a good way he communicates with me. He still has lots of 'homework' to do, walking over his pillows etc to try and ensure he is weight bearing on his 'new' leg. Slowly but Surely and with the support of Beth, who certainly calmed my worries from the start I do believe we are making good progress. Wensleydale is certainly happy to be back in his catio greeting you all.
I can't stress enough how important the physiotherapy has been to aid his recovery. Its not just about dogs and hydrotherapy, cats can gain so much from physio, it's not just following surgery, help for those elderly cats and so many other reasons physio can help.
We still have lots of work to do with Wensleydale over the coming months and I thank you all so much for your support and following his journey. 🧡🐾
