Amy's Pet and Home Services I offer cat, dog and small animal visiting services and dog walking, covering the Cheltenham and Gloucester areas. I am Police (DBS) checked and fully insured.

I am a qualified and registered veterinary nurse. I am first aid trained and keep up to date with Continuing Professional Development, which is required by all veterinary nurses to remain on the professional register. I offer Pet visiting services, where I will go into your home and feed, walk, clean, and spend time with your pets. I currently do not offer a service where I am able to stay overnight with your pet, but can offer boarding to well behaved dogs.

Pet visiting
I will visit your house to feed/clean animals. Take dogs for walks, and spend time with them. Ideal for cat owners, who don't want the stress of taking their cats to a cattery, or for people who are out in the day and want a visit to check all is ok with their pets.

Dog walking
One-to-one dog walking, I never group walk! I can walk dogs for any duration you specify.

Puppy/kitten checks
I will spend time with your puppy or kitten, socialising them and making sure they are ok when you are away or at work.

About me

I have always loved animals. When I left school 25yrs ago I went straight into a vets to work as a care assistant in a local vets. I loved this but wanted to get some qualifications, so after a couple of years I went off to Hartpury Colleg. Here I got my National Diploma in Animal Care, and then a BSc (Hons) in Animal Science. I decided that I wanted a hands on job with animals so went on to for another two years to become a registered and qualified veterinary nurse. I love all animals, and have had the pleasure of working with a variety of species over the years, from cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, lizards, snakes, fish and even a spider! I still work as a Locum veterinary nurse, but wanted to offer my services and love of animals to the community whilst remaining in practice.
