The Natural Christmas Tree Co - Prestbury Farm Huntley Planted our first trees back in 2008, we are a small family run farm by husband and wife team.

Our trees are grown near the Gloucestershire, Herefordshire border with a set of environmental principles at our core to provide a fresh healthy tree grown in harmony with nature, we want choosing your tree to be the start of your family Christmas build up. Trees available from our small holding: open everyday 9-5:30 from 25th November

Just like that the 2024 season is over, we have absolutely loved catching up with all of you, both returning and new Christmas tree Hunters. It has been a little challenging this year with two named storms, flooding, some snow, plenty of rain and some disappearing road signs. To wake up this morning to a lovely thank you message from a very last minute tree request yesterday is what it is all about. A massive thank you for your continued support and helping us to improve and to keep being a small part of your Christmas traditions, we really appreciate it. Without the support and work from family and friends who have helped all through the last month, it would not be possible, it’s hard work but is definitely fun! Merry Christmas from our family to yours ❤️

It is with a heavy heart that on Wednesday night our replacement signs at Solomans Tump have all been taken again. The weather has made things hard this year as it is and the work we put in as a family business makes this all the more disheartening. We are starting to run out of signs to keep replacing though 😂. 🥧Mince pies are iced and ready, trees are back up after the winds and Donkeys are back out in their paddock.

☕️Hot drinks on this Sunday with Paddy and Bear and local meat from Plump Hill Farm in our Christmas Barn.

We can also deliver if needed.

Our Story

As children the choosing of the tree was always the start of Christmas traditions for us and we aim to provide that same magical experience. We have been growing Christmas trees for over a decade and in 2012, we established a new plantation on the beautiful Gloucestershire/ Herefordshire border. Our plantation is established with a set of principles to ensure ecological sustainability through planting and harvesting in an eight year long cycle, which enables us to constantly produce a quality tree.

Recently we have planted trees at Prestbury Farm which will provide a festive walk in a few years to come.

We are a family run business with all members of the family helping over the busy periods, when we first started we offered all customers a free homemade mince pie, and every year since everyone who comes to visit us will be offered our now infamous mince pies!

Given the need for environmental sustainability we have made every effort through the life cycle of the tree to enhance our management and provide different habitats for a range of wildlife, we even have orchids in our plantation.
