Some dogs, like little Frankie here, are a bit anxious/excited on arrival. I always try and let their owners know how they are doing as the day goes on. As you can see… it didn’t take him long to settle in and have fun 🤩

Very proud of rescue dog Moon, who joined our Saturday gang unsure of how to interact with other dogs and people. She’s made amazing progress and now stays overnight too without being stressed at all 🥰

There’s always one who can’t get high enough at nap time! I’ve had dogs asleep on tables and window sills but I think this is a new record. Mac fancied the freshly washed duvets and I didn’t have the heart to get him down 😂🫣🥰🐾

I wanted to share the new doggy rooms we’ve built and renovated. I took this photo without any set up… they were all just ‘doing their thing’ 😂 Admittedly I was about to prepare the breakfasts!
The crates are popular with lots of the dogs who just like to take themselves off to their own space. Nobody is shut in during the day and only at night at the owners request. I debated long and hard whether to have permanent crates in situ even with doors hooked open as I know they are a diversive topic. I am so glad I did! The dogs happiness is all I need to be sure I made the right choice 🥰

Apparently the best place to wash off after an hour on the farm is the paddling pool 🙈🐾 I guess that’ll need re-filling then guys 😂🥰🐾

Today we said goodbye and bon voyage to the beautiful ‘Seven’ 💕 She will be missed as she was an easy, friendly, enthusiastic day care visitor. Her last week did result in an unexpected dunking (see end of video!) but she took it in her stride (diving back in 1 minute later!) as she did with all things here on the farm. Happy travels sweet girl 🥹and I’ll miss you too Fiona (thanks for all the gifts over the years!) 🥲Retirement fun awaits 🤩

Took Matt for walkies in the woods and he proceeded to demonstrate a (rather worrying!) game he used to play with his brother. Well… the dogs enjoyed it at least!!! 🙈😂
