Loosing a boobie in 2018 was sad but necessary to saving my life, I physically healed quickly and was blessed with a skilled surgeon. Although I’ve joked it off and am so very grateful to be here I will admit to struggling. My body confidence has never been high and this along with several set backs through my journey put it at an all time low. Inspired by someone else’s different but similar set of circumstances, last night I did a thing! The perfect opportunity arose and I went for it! Skinny dipping! I am not a naturist (I can’t even sleep naked on my own!) and I do not feel the need to go again but it was for me the most liberating and empowering thing I could have done. A massive thank you to everyone who was so kind and welcoming and to one certain lady I knew from years ago, I happened to meet by chance who has helped me more than she will ever know. I certainly banished some demons last night. Accepting ourselves is not easy at times but is more important than anybody else’s approval. I laughed loads and really feel a massive weight lifted. Each to their own, another lesson also on how unknowingly judgemental I can be! and it has been an eye opener in more than one way! 👀 I shared in the hope my message will reach someone, just as I have been helped by someone sharing their story with me.

I feel blessed to work and spend my days with animals. I’ve always struggled, feeling like a square peg in a round hole. My Grandma used to say “it’s good to be different”, and it’s only now I can really embrace that, she was right. Today I wrote a thing. I’m putting it out there. The world feels so full of chaos atm. But we can still shine and it’s important that we do. Let’s all stay hopeful for better days to come 🙏 it all starts with us.

Never again but a pathway to a better place and a long time coming!

will I put my eggs in one basket
….will I disregard my welfare or my peace
…..will I throw myself wholeheartedly into someone else’s program
…..will I search for happiness, safety or acceptance behind another’s eyes

Maybe I am learning, or, if I can be open to see

…it is about growing into my soul, acceptance of my self physically, mentally and emotionally and owning my issues
… it is to honour my time and my energy for these are the most valuable gifts I can give
….it is to walk not behind or infront of others but alongside, independently and to accept that not everyone will want to join me or keep the same pace

….it is ok to walk a “different” road and not be afraid of detours for there will be many
….it is ok to be ok with sometimes not being ok but don’t make it a place to stay
….it is ok to be where I’m cherished and loved because I am worthy of all of these things and I don’t need to be anywhere I’m unwanted or just useful. Energy doesn’t lie so trust your gut
….it is ok to lose myself but not be forever scared as I know I will find me again hopefully a better version
….it is ok to just be unapologetically myself, those who love me will see beyond my flaws and if they don’t they are not for me
….it is ok to live my life through my lens but with kindness and empathy. Let people do what they want. We have one life, if it is meant to be it will
….it is ok to let go but to feel sad in the process… it’s because it meant something and was heartfelt
….it is ok to love and risk getting hurt as we get hurt anyway nothing stays forever
Life is not a flat line… to flat line is not living

Finally managed to get a wee sample once I’d convinced her my kitchen ladle wasn’t a ball wanger . Hopefully we can get to the bottom of Jess’s recent spell of incontinence (literally) Bless her my no 1 assistant 🫶 a bit of a worrying time. But she’s firing on all cylinders as usual so have everything crossed.

Bit Lady and the Tramp, these two absolutely adore each other, not sure a smelly old sock is as romantic as spaghetti but it’s provided a good bit of “enrichment” learning to share 🤔
May also be a lesson in tidying up your own damn stuff …. Although Zazzy is a sock thief so it may have been nabbed from across the lawn! 🫣🤫…
