Throughout 2025 MONTY'S K9 TRAINING CLUB will be holding Mantrailing Training on most Saturdays and mid week at various locations around Gloucester. We welcome newcomers as we're trying to establish a Mantrailing and Tracking group as part of our Activity Training.

Throughout 2025.Monry's K9 Training Club will be running Mantrailing Training Saturday Mornings and Afternoons at various locations around Gloucester. For those who are unfamiliar with Mantrailing. It's teaching dogs to search for hidden person's using a combination of tracking and air scenting abilities. Shown is Panda. A Sprollie handled by 12 year old Hunter. The venue was the woodland and fields behind the Royal George Hotel Birdlip Gloucester. The trail was approximately half hour old covering a distance of about 600 mtrs wth five legs. Training this Afternoon is the first Sunday moving from evenings for the Winter season. Shown is Arnold completing a Steeplechase Course including pole wraps. Just a reminder for interested party's. Beginners class 1.30- -2.30pm. Top class as shown 2.45 4.15. Widden Old Boy's Rugby Club Tuffley Avenue Gloucester. Same venue. Golden Oldies Pensioners Group. Thursday Mornings 11.00am start. Mantrailing Saturday Mornings 11.00am start at various locations around Gloucester.

Last night's training equipment wise we kept to a minimum due to the rainy conditions At Monty's we're steering away from Agility and moving towards K9 Pole Wrap Show Jumping as shown. In our opinion this is a safer option where the dog is always facing the next jump in a natural straight line position after leaving the Pole Wrap. The course set was very basic due to the weather conditions within the next couple of weeks our new equipment will be ready. The jump heights are 25, 45, and 65cm. When shown we welcome unbiased constructive comments which can be of benefit to enable us to get it off the ground an an alternative to what we see in competitions now.

The type and breed of dog you don't associate with Activity Training. Monty's can't take all the credit as from what I understand Kilo has received some control training from Dean Woodcock, Kanetex Dog Training. Never the less. WELL DONE.
