Sadly many owners still believe that if their dog isn't being vocal about their pain, they must not be feeling it.

We know how far this is from the truth

Celebrate International Dog Day! šŸ•šŸ¾šŸ¦“šŸ¶

Today is Pets Travel Safely Day, founded by Claire Pets2Places. (1st July is also the day that seatbelts became compulsory in the UK in 1991).

Claire runs a pet taxi service so I bet sheā€™s come across a few odd & frankly dangerous ways of people transporting their pets!

Rule 57 of the highway code states When in a vehicle make sure dogs or other animals are suitably restrained so they cannot distract you while you are driving or injure you, or themselves, if you stop quickly. A seat belt harness, pet carrier, dog cage or dog guard are ways of restraining animals in cars..ā€

A secured crate would be a great option for keeping your dog safe, but itā€™s not always practical or possible and seatbelt and harness combo is great but thereā€™s always the worry that your dog will slip around.

So whatā€™s the alternative? Well, funny you should ask! šŸ˜‰

Iā€™ve been developing and testing what we are calling the Car Cube, and Iā€™m pretty excited about it, want to know why? Hereā€™s a few reasonsā€¦.

šŸ¾Ideal for nervous travellers or those that get car sick;
šŸ¾Easy access for older dogs;
šŸ¾Eliminates the need for a crate in the car boot;
šŸ¾ Leaves seats free in the back while letting the dog travel beside family members;
šŸ¾Allows owners to keep their dog closer to them while travelling.
šŸ¾Frees up boot space
šŸ¾And of course, keeps the car clean!

Iā€™m so excited about it, that Iā€™m telling you while it's still in pre production! Iā€™d love to know your thoughts ā€“ and if youā€™d like learn more or pre-order, drop me an email to [email protected].

Travel safely everyone!

The less fur between pads the more easily they can feel whatā€™s under their feet.
