Looking for pathological case studies!

I am a final year Equine Podiatry student with Equine Podiatry Training Ltd looking for 3 more pathological case studies to trim over a period of 6 months. The case studies are supervised by a qualified and experienced EP and are fully insured.

Looking for horses with foot related lameness due to pathologies such as:
-Laminitis with rotation
-Navicular disease/syndrome
-Under-run heels
-Serious, unstable wall cracks
-Capsule shift
-Club foot
-Significant loss of hoof wall (e.g. due to White Line Disease)

During the 6 month case study period I will be looking to rehabilitate and improve the hoof health through a holistic approach.

Covering areas around North Wales/Mid Wales/Shropshire.

Looking for case studies!

Having passed my Stage 2 exam I’m now looking for a couple more non-pathological case studies to take on. I am based in Bronllys near Brecon but would be able to travel to parts of Mid and South Wales, as well as parts of Herefordshire.

Non-pathological refers to the feet being fairly healthy without any major issues such as laminitis, navicular or other defects affecting them. Each case study lasts approximately 6 months with regular visits and is fully mentored by a qualified EP who attends the initial consultation with me and then monitors my progress through assessment reports and photos, attending again the final visit at the end of the case study.

Happy to see another 6 students fly through their stage 2 exams. This means they can start their case studies.

What a wonderful Trim 2 course we had in July despite the temperatures reaching high 30s 🥵 So lucky to be surrounded by excellent teachers and such a lovely group of fellow students 🤩
