‘Take & Train for you’ session with Peggy. We are working on Peggy being calmer when walking. Week 4 of our outdoor puppy adventure class 🌿🐾 This was a fun week, we had a variety of exercises including, tunnels, balance exercises, proprioception challenges, small jumps, weave poles along with practicing training foundations. Proprioception is a dog’s sense of body position and movement. Developing proprioception and agility in puppies helps them understand where their limbs are. It lays a strong foundation for a healthy and active life, reducing injury risk, ensuring they are well-coordinated and confident in their movements. Cooperative care/low stress nail clipping. I keep working with Ori to make sure he feels as happy as possible about having his nails clipped. Sometimes he is absolutely amazing and basically falls asleep and enjoys the pamper, other times he is a little mouthy depending on his mood, so I make sure I slow it down and reinforce smaller positive behaviours to make sure he feels okay about it.
