This lovely boy is Obi - our absolute favourite this month! Silly Obi ate a long sock last week which got stuck at the exit of his stomach and caused his intestines to bunch up as it tried to travel through.
Obi went for surgery last week to remove the offending sock which Mariella, one of our vets, had to take partly from his stomach and partly from his small intestine. ✂️
Here he is feeling much better a week later and having lots of fuss from the nursing team. We love Obi, but hope he stays out of the sock drawer and don’t have to see too much of him too soon! 🧦
🐈⬛ This lovely lady ‘Kola’ came in to see our night vet Carolina earlier in the week with some nasty ulcers in her mouth meaning she couldn’t eat 🐈⬛
After 24 hours in hospital she was feeling much happier; here she is with final year student nurse Emma preparing her to go home. We all fell in love with Kola and as you can see, we think she equally loved Emma!
🐶 Luna’s laparoscopic ovariectomy at Milford Veterinary Hospital 🐶
We thought it would be interesting to show you all a ‘day in the life’ of what happens during a laparoscopic (key hole) ovariectomy (spay). Luna was a referral from a different vets for her spay, and was a pleasure to have in. We are pleased to hear she went on to recover well at home and is back to normal life!
If you would like to find out more about this procedure, please contact reception.
