What to expect at your sessions
During your first consultation, I will assess your pets teeth and suitability for use of the Emmi-pet toothbrush. I will not go ahead with sessions if I feel your pet is in any pain or discomfort and may advise that a veterinary check up is required before continuing with any further sessions
During the first consultation I will take a full history to include any previous oral treatments or concerns. We will also discuss a home care plan for you to continue between sessions.
Every dog is different so each session is based on the individual needs of your pet.
The first consultation will include the cost of your pets own toothbrush head and first clean. This sessions last around an hour and will cost £45. Subsequent cleaning sessions are £25 per 30mins.
For maintenance cleans I recommend every 4-6weeks to keep on top of any build up and to ensure they are getting regular oral checks to enable any issues to be quickly picked up.
I will also be offering socialisation sessions at a cost of £20 for the hour to include an oral care pack to take home. These sessions will be aimed at dogs that might be anxious or unsure about being touched, young dogs to desensitise them or owners who would like to know more about how to help keep their pets teeth clean.
It’s never too late to start your oral care journey
Please note the Emmi-pet is not a substituite for veterinary dental treatment. As a vet nurse we can not diagnose or prescribe treatments for your pets. We work under a strict code of conduct and RCVS guidelines and if concerned will always refer you back to your vet
