Have some of the friendliest guineas I've ever looked after with us at the minute.. Gizmo, Money pit and Teddy so gorgeous.. Money Pit didn't feel like coming out for a pic tho ... xx

Not finished yet...but I'm never 100% happy with my girls' home 🤣... so I've extended again with an L shape .. still to finish other side it's in the wash so will put another pic on tomorrow.. so I'm 80% happy ok maybe 87%.. 👍👍..

Biscuit & Cinnamon 2 young rabbits come to stay this week along with 2 guineas Peanut & Hobnob can you spot them in the hay .. I've had to separate the rabbits as they are not getting on so I can have lots of time with them in the play pen as room is a bit tight.. lots of cuddles this week for me 🐹🐇🐹🐇🥰..

OK... so something fab happened yesterday.. I've got additions to my resident pets .. so I have 2 more hens to add to my existing 4 hens and 1 Cockerel and I have 3 Gerbils to add to the inside residents in the Pet Hotel so they will keep my guineas company ... its getting pretty busy here and we are looking forward to welcoming new boarders too.. 🐹🐰🐔🐓 .... 😀

A pleasure looking after these 4 this week .. Maple, Hazel, Willow & Fern .. its been a warm week so had the fan on them and some covered ice blocks 🌞🌞..

It's a pleasure to have Rosie & Penny staying with me again.. they are both a bit shy until I put the fresh hay in.. then it's a different story, they can't get to it quick enough.. 🥰🥰 ....

As promised a while back my new dinosaur themed fleece has been made into a liner for bottom of cage and a cosy day bed and 3 cube houses so Daisy, Lily and Poppy have there own space.. I love it and obviously they love it too xx

So I've just ordered this .. not for my chickens they already have a super home..this is for Tallulah my tortoise for an outdoor enclosure, she already has an indoor one.. I've got big plans to really pimp this up .. 😀🐢 🏡🎉..

Just ordered this fabulous dinosaur 🦕 fleece fabric cage liner for the resident guineas ..Daisy, Lily and Poppy.. can't wait for it to arrive.. oh asked them to make me some little cosy beds in it as well i couldn't resist 😀..

The residents are trying this feeding hay I've been kindly given to try.. The dandelion and nettle is going down very well indeed.. only the best for my resident and guest guineas .. 😊

Cleaning guineas today I realised I make a lot more mess than they do 😂 New waterproof star mat in today too and more toys and I made a comfy hammock with fleece out of a corner litter tray .. 😄

I love dogs, we currently have a new rescue dog from cyprus he is called Milo. We have had him with us for 7 weeks and we are getting used to him and he is getting used to us. I am happy to look after dogs as I have lots of hands on experience with them. They will be looked after in my home but I can only take one or two from same family at a time. 🐕‍🦺🐩🐕 ... see prices on pinned post for details.

My name is Angie Mckenna, I have post covid syndrome (long covid). It has been almost a year now and this has affected me so much I had to leave my lovely job with the nhs. Silver lining is I have decided to open up my own business from my house. That is how Springfield small animal pet hotel was born. I have lots of experience looking after animals. I have had rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils in the past and my current extended family consists of our rescue dog Milo, my tortoise Tallulah, my three guinea pigs Daisy, Lily and Poppy and my chicken and cockerel Snowella and Roo.
