Due to rapid growth, we are on the lookout for another incredible human to don some waders and join our team 💦

Based in Pollington, Yorkshire (DN14) we are based in a quiet rural location with a relaxing vibe and the most incredible clients 😊 🐾

We have a full rehabilitation suite including underwater treadmill, separate treatment area for Laser, INDIBA, and all manner of veterinary physiotherapy equipment for land based rehab!

Our team consists of two experienced Veterinary Physiotherapists (who are also qualified hydrotherapists) who treat a range of neurological and orthopaedic conditions. Our clients are at the absolute heart of what we do so we are looking for someone as dedicated and as dog mad as we are! 🐶🐾

You will have the flexibility to develop your own caseload and work independently.

💦 The post is FULL TIME (including Saturdays*) with potential for additional hours. 💦 Part Time position also available.
💦 We will also consider someone who can commit to less hours too!
💦Salary up to 33k (pro rata) DOE
💦 Bonus scheme
💦 Happy to consider employed or self employed basis.
*From spring we operate more evening appointments so we have weekends off for 6 months of the year 👌😊

Candidates should have a Level 3 qualification in small animal hydrotherapy plus advanced underwater treadmill.*
Ideally, one year of industry experience.
ICH or NARCH registered.

*Candidates working towards this qualification will also be considered.

🩷🩵 Adorable Angus 🩵🩷

At just 8 months old Angus has been diagnosed with a condition that for some dogs, without the appropriate support or diagnosis, can be life changing. 😞

Some of the signs Angus’ owners noticed were…..

❗️struggling to jump on furniture
❗️lameness in his back legs
❗️bunny hopping when trotting/running
❗️no strength in his back legs

Luckily they investigated this further and Paragon Veterinary Referrals confirmed the diagnosis of hip dysplasia. This is a painful condition where the top of the femur doesn’t fit into the hip joint properly, causing pain, discomfort and reduced mobility. 😢

Luckily for Angus, his owners are really proactive and he’s starting a course of aggressive Veterinary Physiotherapy and Veterinary Hydrotherapy to help stabilise the joints. 😊

We will keep you all posted with his progress 💕

🍾🎄 That’s a Wrap! 🎄 🍾

Kelly has just finished cleaning 🧹 and the waders are hung up until the New Year. 🥂

Thank you once again to all of our wonderful owners who trust us with your dog’s care. 🥰
We have worked so hard this year building on our reputation for outstanding rehabilitation, working with some of the most complex, difficult to treat cases.

We appreciate the distances some of you travel to get the best care for your dogs. We are so lucky to have such a rewarding job and to see your lovely faces every week. 💕

To all of our referring vets and specialist referral centres, thank you! 😊

Our job is amazing, unfortunately it does come with some really sad times. In the past week two of our lovely dogs have passed over the 🌈 bridge. 😢 We are sending all of our love to Fen and Harry’s owners this Christmas ~ we know how hard this one will be for you 😢

2024 has been a blast. 2025 we are ready for you! 💪 (but not before attempting to drink and eat our way through all of your kind gifts)🥴🤣

Becca is leaving us 😢

She’s officially worked her last day and is now off to study for her PhD. She’s been a brilliant addition to the team and we will really miss her.

You lot have been asking us for weeks to confirm our Christmas 🎄 opening hours! 🙈We’ve left it a whole 2 weeks later than last year to post this time 🤣

For our Tuesday clients, we will be closed on Tuesday 10th December as Kelly and Becca are both out of the country ✈️ 🥳

We know how busy it is on the lead up to Christmas so we are working longer hours and Sundays to accommodate everyone. December is around 60% full already so please do book in at your next regular appointment slot.

If you missed Kelly this week, here’s what she’s been up to…..

I bet you’ve all been wondering what I’ve been up to this week……

I’ve been away in Spain working with CRAR Centre de Rehabilitació Animal de Referència.
This centre of excellence for small animal rehabilitation is the brainchild of Marina and is one of the first of its kind in Europe! 🐾

Marina’s team of vets, nurses and assistants are some of the most passionate, experienced and knowledgeable people I have met in Small Animal Rehabilitation. 😍🩵

The INDIBA machine I’m pictured with plays a huge part in their rehabilitation plans (and mine). I am proud to have had the first machine for small animals in Yorkshire for over 18 months now, and prouder still that I am now an advanced practitioner 🙌

I have witnessed and assisted in a variety of complex orthopedic and neurological cases over the past week. Returning to the UK, I have wealth of new knowledge which I can now use to enhance my rehabilitation assessment and plans. 👌

If you want to be the best you need to train, learn from and collaborate with the best💪. I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to work with this team and can’t wait for our next date! 😍
