Molly jumped a nice double clear in our first British novice together. She was a bit strong but jumped fab and as usual she went straight back to sleep once she had finished😆.

Jo Upton’s Molly jumped a lovely double clear today. She was calm and letting me ride forward which is a big thing for her. Hopefully everything she’s learnt is sinking in!!

Olympia went home yesterday for some field time to mature. Before she left her owner had a ride and we gave her a loose jump. Throughout her education she’s proven to be extremely trainable with a tendency to anticipate your next move once she’s done something a few times. Shes definitely been one of the easier ones to break 😊

Not Mollys day with unfortunate fence down but her canter has improved a lot and she’s starting to show more scope in her jump.

Bobbys owner came to ride him again before taking him home to continue his education. He looks very happy out in his field. He’s gone home with a ridden plan for him and his owner to follow so that his transition to work at home goes as smoothly as possible. I’m looking forward to following his progression.

Bobbys owner got her first ride on him today. A lot of works been put into him to help him relax his head carriage and bend the correct way as he tends to throw his shoulder in and look to the outside. It’s always daunting getting on for the first time, especially when there’s a lot of information to take on board but Rosie rode him perfectly.

Olympias first time on the long lines. No issue with the lines around her so a good start. Being told what to do from another angle, not as pleased but I can’t blame her. It’s not that she doesn’t want to work with me, she just doesn’t understand. She’s very clever so I’ve no doubt in a couple of days she’ll be long reining fab.

Mollys had an intense week learning how to control her stride before fences and it paid off today at port royal. Unfortunately I didn’t get a video as the camera women was on YouTube 🤦🏼‍♀️.
Very pleased with Mollys progress and the round was a lot smoother than last time out.

Olympia can be a bit complacent sometimes. She took having the saddle on find as she wasn’t really concentrating but she felt it once in the school. She worked nicely on the lunge after that and seems to be a quick learner.
