We are closed today, so all the horses are enjoying an extra day off in addition to their usual two days off every week. They spend their time off enjoying time in the field, grazing, sunbathing and socialising with the other horses, all of which is important for their mental and physical wellbeing.
As you can see William is taking full advantage of his day off and has chosen to have breakfast in bed!
Everyone is getting ready for tomorrows summer show, and its looking like the sun might make an appearance too, fingers crossed!!
Our Saturday staff have decided to practice for tomorrows mini show jumping ahead of time, although there seems to be some cheating!!
See you all tomorrow. 😁
The lovely Richard and Lola mutual grooming. It is so important horses get to be horses and get to communicate and create bonds!
Richard and Lola are our resident married couple, they've been together since 2015 ❤️

The horses and ponies have loved their well earned break. They are being exercised the next couple of days to ensure they are ready for Thursday. Here is William and Ruby letting off some steam. That is one impressive jump from Ruby!!! 😱
See you soon. Happy New Year!

Thank you to Helen for some new horse treats today. We think Chief approves! 🤣
Hows breakfast in bed sound? Domino felt it wasn't worth getting up to eat his breakfast early yesterday morning 🤣
(Domino gets wrapped up as he has summer health conditions)
The horses do enjoy their days off. Here's Tia having a snuggle with Katie 😍
😍Domino update 😍
Domino has been very poorly over the last few weeks and became poorly again last week. However, the vet came to see him again today and has given him the go ahead to go back outside to the field and fingers crossed slowly start coming back into work.
How EXCITED is Domino to be back outside in the sunshine 🌞 😍
We also think he looks very smart in his brand new WeatherBeeta UK winter rug. Not bad for 35 years old! :)

Something fun this evening with Merlin and Lady 😍
Yesterday at HEC we had a big surprise and a taste of TV stardom for the ponies, as we were interviewed by ITV Calendar news! ITV wanted to know how the Olympics has inspired riders to take up horse riding in our region. Did anyone spot their favourite horses & ponies on the news? Well done to all the riders who were brave enough to talk on TV! BHS Yorkshire ITV Calendar
