OPENING HOURS
Opening hours stated are non negotiable and must be adhered to.This has arisen because when customers arrive late to pick up thier animal, the vacated kennel has to be disinfected and thoroughly cleaned ready for the next day. Many of you will appreciate that to start this task at sometimes 7pm or 8pm in the evening is not acceptale. If you feel you need to leave your animal before t
he opening hours, please book your animal in a day earlier and the same applies to picking up your animal after hours, please book an extra day. This should be arranged at the time of booking as during the busy seasons there are very few spare days available at the last minute. If you cancel your booking at short notice i.e. within seven days, the whole amount is payable if the kennel/cat chalet cannot be re-let. BOARDING FEES
Boarding fees will be charged from the day of arrival to include the day of departure and charged for the full period of booking in cases of early collection. Also if you book to come in one day and do not arrive until the following day,the costs will be charged from the day you should have left your animal. With effect from 1st January 2011 the charge per dog per kennel PER DAY OR PART DAY is £13.00. Additional dogs, sharing the same kennel will be charged at a reduced fee. The charge per cat per chalet PER DAY OR PART DAY is £9.00 and again another cat sharing will be charged at a reduced fee. Please note that per day does not mean per 24 hours e.g. if you book your animal in at 10 am on a Saturday and uplift at 10 am on Sunday this is counted as two days. ANIMAL CARE
All dogs are walked three times per day and fed the appropriate diet at the correct time of day. Treats are given and quality time is spent with each and every dog. Every kennel is cleaned to the highest standard every day. All this takes time and effort but is something that we believe is very important to every animal's happiness and wellbeing. Although cats are not walked, their chalets/houses are thoroughly cleaned and quality time is spent with each animal. It is the owner's responsibility to treat their animal for worms and fleas. If any animal is found to have either of the above, they will be treated at the owner's expense. Please DO NOT bring your animal's bedding as if it gets soiled or wet we shall not be responsible for laundering it. Do bring a favourite toy. If any animal is not collected within fourteen days of the stated collection date, with no communication from either the owner or contact person,we reserve the right to place the animal in a re-homing centre unless otherwise instructed. Please bring your animal's vaccination certificate with you every time you visit the kennels/cattery. We are aware that some animals are not allowed vaccinations due to medical conditions and this is acceptable. Please remind us of this at the time of booking. We do our best for all the animals in our care and if at any time you feel dissatisfied in any way please make us aware of your concerns and hopefully these can be resolved. Alison & Craig
