Nell the little miracle recent visit 🐾

Nell came into our practice in mild shock, with a small hole in the front of her head. Our Gorebridge team triaged and stabilised Nell, and arranged an emergency transfer to the Dick Vet Hospital for Small Animals.
After a CT scan, and intensive hospital monitoring in their ICU, nell was discharged after only 2 days. Less than 1 week later her wounds are healing well and she’s back to chasing her tail!❤🐾

Poor Woody had been a little off colour the last week, coughing occasionally and not keen to eat. After becoming a bit more unwell today with retching, gulping, and getting very feisty about anyone touching his throat, vet Tara suspected he might have something stuck in his nasopharynx (the bit that connects the nose and throat). We put him under a general anaesthetic to check - look at what we found up there! Hopefully now Woody will bounce quickly back to himself!

We had a 🦆 race to pick the winner for the raffle. It was a close race, but Patricia Paul you are our winner! Please email the gorebridge practice and we’ll forward your details on to Tara so she can start your portrait 🥰
