Look who's came back for a holiday! Little Orphan Odin who I hand raised from a tiny 58grams back in October 2022, was born here and found an amazing forever home with his guinea mum Victoria and his big brother Loki 💙 he also has big brothers Popcorn and Sonny living alongside him at home, who have also joined us for a holiday 💙 😊

After being rejected by mum and loosing 8 of their siblings these 3 little miracles are thriving thanks to my amazing children latching them on o feed and kept them warm whilst I held mum. Mum's instincts kicked in and now they have their eyes open and are bopping about 🥰 These are very special little conti babies 😍

(REHOMED) 2 little baby boys would like to hop off to a new family. Very much a bonded pair. People often are mistaken that boys cannot live together like girls can this is absolutely not true! Neutering when those pesky hormones kick in would benefit a bonded pair of boys just in the same way it would for a pair of girls.

This little guy was handed in to the vets found loose in Spalding. He's a very friendly chap and has been well fed so someone must be missing him. Please share if his owners are not found we will be having him neutered and vaccinated xx

We were sorry to hear that Chester had sadly passed away in his sleep on Monday. Chester was handed in to us many years ago, where we then had him neutered. He had battled a chest infection which needed several different antibiotics and a nebuliser too, but we got him through. This left him with scaring on the lungs which made him sound a bit raspy. He was adopted by a wonderful family with Olivia giving him the absolute best life ❤️ spoilt rotten every day and loved dearly. They took him to be cremated at Lincolnshire pet crematorium which I thought was a lovely thing to do for him. He will be sadly missed 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

It's always handy to have some Remend gel in the 1st aid kit for the animals.

Poor little Midnight has had a nasty scrape to the eye, she's had some Metacam for pain relief, and Remend corneal repair gel applied. She'll have the eye lubricated at least 4 times a day. She's eating happily and doesn't seem too bothered by it which is great. Luckily eyes can heal very rapidly if they are kept lubricated so fingers crossed 🤞 for a speedy recovery.

We've had a real crap week 😔
Yesterday our lovely black pointed cali boar who had fathered the recent 4 sows and 2 cream boys, had passed away 😢

2 babies who were born to our lilac and gold sow Echo have not been looked after all that well and are relying on me for feeds, they are not out the woods but are hungrily taking their milk feed really well.

Our little agouti boar passed away and even worse he already had a home lined up to live with Elvis the silver and white boar who was on our page recently.

We had rescue brothers Basil and Bruno, back for their holidays, and a day before they were due to go home, they ended up falling out and causing serious injuries! These boys had been bickering before hand and had a somewhat love/hate relationship but of course it had to happen on my watch 🫣
Wounds were cleaned with hibiscrub, pain relief and anti inflammatorys were given, critical care syringe feeds and lots of tlc needed.

Something positive is our wild hoggy Harry 🦔 has quadrupled in size and will soon be ready to be released if the weather keeps getting warmer 😀

Some absolute stunners born in the last few days, the cream and white boys have some very dark noses and ears so expecting them to point up cali marked 😍😍😍
Finally the sow fairy made a visit and we have 4 gorgeous little girlie's 😍 ✨️ 💕

Friday was a busy day! We had the pleasure of doing a home visit for some guinea pig pampering for Elsa, Autumn, Chester, Princess, Milly, Molly, Ares, and Mable. They got a good check over, nails trimmed and Chester had his ears moisturised as he has dry skin.

We then took Pip one of our rescue boars to the vets to have his bottom teeth trimmed. He had mysteriously broken off his top two teeth completely off and so his bottom ones had overgrown slightly. Now they are both at a normal length and he can happily eat everything again 😊

Button came for a pamper session on Monday. He had his nails trimmed, and his bottom cleaned as he'd got himself in a bit of a mess. He was being looked after by a friend and over indulged in the treats 🙈
Whilst he was here I gave him a full check over and discovered he had some unwanted friends in his ears that could potentially become a serious problem. So his first course of mite treatment was applied allowing time for his owner to be ready for his next treatment in 7 days time. Button was a very good boy and is welcome back anytime 😊
