Painting a menagerie of Ermin Moths for 2D specimen Frames as the prototype worked out so well.

Love that i was able to get the fluffy floof of the thorax done so well.

🌻 M.G Garden 🌻

We have a new resident Leaf Cutter Bee, which now explains the state of my magnolias foliage !

She has made an next in a deceased plants pot under the bark chips, cutting leaf snippets 1/3 of her body size and dragging it into a nest tunnel she has dug.

So this pot wasn't being watered anyway, but we get to see her to and fro, but hopefully see the next generation emerge. 😲🐝💕

The Elephant hawkmoth is looking more like it's physical inspiration now,

It will be interesting to "floof" this 2 D specimen with the thorax patterns and colours.

🐝 Bee Rescue 🐝

Morrisons have lots of plants at the moment and I managed to get this hollyhock for £3 which the bees will love once it's tall flowers are out.

Walking back Mr M.G found a bee in the pavement he was close to stepping on, walking it onto my hand I popped them into the hollyhock tub to get out of the sun.

Clearly heat exhaustion as 10mins down the road it started climbing all the leaves, we popped it along with our new plant into the shade part of the M.G Garden.

It flew off recovered sometime jn the afternoon as it wasn't there when I checked 🥳

🌻 Mourning Glory 🌻

We have so much for visiting pollinators this summer, roses, lillies, iris' , of course 101 snap dragons, scabious and their favourite salvia hot lips,

We have seen so many bees, Moths and beetles come and go whilst sitting in the M.G H.Q garden in the evenings and afternoons.
