Upcoming events and a few days of being closed!

Gosport market is coming up soon and it’s a firm favourite event of mine! I’ll be in my usual spot!

Then St James park dog show after, I did this event last year and sponsored the dog show and it was great fun!

Small sausage roll - £1.20

A chicken and pork sausage wrapped in pork skin, makes for the perfectly crunchy snack!

The chewy pork skin will help aid in teeth cleaning as it takes some chewing to get through

This is pork skin wrapped round a chicken and pork sausage, this longer lasting chewy treat will keep your dog busy, help keep their teeth clean and it’s not too smelly!

It is slightly higher in fat, 20% so fed occasionally makes for the perfect snack! They are around 20-25cm long so good value for money!

Let’s talk prices 💰💰💰

I’ve noticed a lot of customers telling me at markets and when ordering that my prices are really good and this makes me so happy.

With the cost of living being sky high at the moment I will always try and keep my prices at R.R.P and the fact I don’t have to worry about rent etc means I can keep my prices as low as possible.

I’ve seen recently for example goat braids being sold at £4.50…. Yes £4.50! 🫣 I sell them at the R.R.P of 75p….

Along with free delivery to PO12/PO13 postcodes, orders also sent via Royal Mail post, and a loyalty card helping you save even more money, I try my best to help as much as I can, and keep your dogs treat pot, or cupboard as most of us seem to have 😂 as full for the best price possible!

Gosh what a day 🥵

It’s been a scorcher!

The girls have had a late dinner, frozen bone broth cubes 🧊 throughout the day, frozen sprats 🐟 and a enrichment breakfast on a licki mat this morning as it was 20 degrees at 6.30 this morning!

What have you done to help keep your dogs and other pets cool in this heat?

We have two fans and cool mats on constantly too!

Hope your doing okay in this heat too it’s no joke!

Sunday special!

For the next week, you can get a 200g roll of salmon pate for just £2 a tube! That’s a £1 saving per roll!

Salmon pate when opened can be kept in the fridge but also can be frozen too, it grates super well for a meal topper, can be used to stuff kongs, hooves and spreads well on licki mats, it’s an all rounder!

😳 Wow guys! 😳

What a day! Honestly on my gosh, I had the busiest day at Anchored in Gosport market today! So busy I didn’t take one photo!

Thank you SO much to everyone who came by!

It’s the most amazing thing meeting regular customers who are coming month after month to see me, honestly it’s the most incredible feeling ☺️

The normal Wickham market isn’t on tomorrow, but Wickham music festival is on the following Sunday so I will be back then!

Keep an eye peeled for some new bits coming to the store too! 👀

Next market up is a firm favourite Anchored In Gosport!
This is such a good market! It’s really bought the life back into Gosport high street! It used to be such a busy place sadly fallen victim as many a high street has!

But! Only we have the power to change that! Come down this Saturday, to see my self along with SO many other traders and the normal shops, there is something for everyone! With live music entertainment, food, drink, gifts, clothing and of course dog treats ☺️

I will be there with the dog ice cream! And all the usual favourites 🐾

Why should you come to a bespoke market by Anchored In Gosport?

Well, firstly and most importantly, it is a free day out, for the whole family!

Secondly, it's supporting all local traders, you won't find any big conglomerates at the market, so come and support independent!

Finally, and genuinely, it is a brilliant day out, a bit of live music, a wander around the stalls and some lunch and a beer in the food court, you really couldnt ask for more!

And this year, you also have Party in the Park over on Walpole Park from 11am...so its a good day to visit the town centre on Saturday 27th July!

I’m sure all my lovely followers know all this of this already, BUT there are people who still seem oblivious to the danger of heat!

Just yesterday at 4pm when the temperatures were still in their 20s I saw someone with a ball thrower heading towards a park, sadly they were too far away for me to say anything and I was driving.

Summer is not an easy time for dog owners and dogs alike no one likes this heat. But here are some little tips for helping keep your dogs cool!

🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟 FLEAS AND TICKS 🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟

Billy No Mates! is a very effective herbal flea, mite, and tick repellent and is also great for skin and coat condition, using the power of lemon balm and neem. As the product can take up to 6 weeks to really take effect, we would recommend you start using Billy No Mates from around March onwards for a problem-free summer.

But you’re not too late to make the switch! Fleas are prominent all year round so it’s never to late to start adding to your dogs daily routine,

It comes in liquid or herb form to help the fussiest of dogs. A dried herb mix of mint, seaweed, fenugreek, neem leaves and lemon balm should simply be added to your dogs food.

Daily rate, mixed with food:

🐾 Small dogs - half a 5ml scoop

🐾 Small / medium dogs - 1 level 5ml scoop

🐾 Medium / large dogs - 1 to 2 level 5ml scoops

1 scoop weighs about 3-4g meaning one pouch lasts a 10kg dog approximately 3 months
