The mobile breast screening unit is currently based at the Alver Valley Garden Centre. As most of you are aware, automatic invitations for breast screening stop at 71 but you are able to request an appointment by phoning 02392 283613 or 02392 283614.

BEWARE I was contacted by Mark Hall for my broken carpet washer. Made arrangements for morning then he started hassling me "have I got any gold jewelry to sell?" I said no he then sent message after message "broken, bracelets, earrings, necklaces I have £50 ready for you". If I'd been a vulnerable old lady he might have beaten me down instead I have reported him. He's been at this for years.i remember he caught me unaware at the doorstep when he damaged a good pair of gold earrings just so he could get hold of them. We'll not any more! Don't trust him! Then in the morning he's back with another profile Rich Smithers. Still harassing me about jewellery especially gold... Please don't let him into your home. If you've jewellery to sell take it to a reputable shop not someone at your doorstep or online!
