We have faced our busiest week to date and our cupboards are nearly empty.

Please, if you can spare a can of pet food, the animals within our community would really appreciate your help.

We are DESPERATE for:
Cat biscuit/kibble
Cat pouches/wet food
Cat litter

PLEASE NOTE:
We are a community project to help those in crisis and respond with food for the animals you initially tell us about.
We are not here to encourage people getting more pets because the food we provide is free.

We are here to help people feed the animals they have in a crisis and to encourage responsible ownership.

This might upset some people who currently use this service, but we have to put measures in place to ensure fairness to all.

As the year 2023 draws to a close, we would like to take this opportunity to thank every person and business who has kindly made a donation, large and small, since we began in August that has enabled us to help those who use this service.

Unfortunately, the only vehicle available to us for deliveries and collections of donations decided to give up the ghost this morning.
I can but apologise to all who were expecting food today, or indeed collections.

This is a big set back for the scheme.
Although we have some wonderful offers of help for drive days, sometimes, just sometimes we are called for an emergency situation and have to respond as soon as possible. This makes it difficult when we rely on others.

So, a solution, hopefully a temporary one, will be to have deliveries on 2 days a week only until something can be sorted about transport.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the donations we have received the last few days. THANK YOU!

Shockingly, it is the 1st December already.
And whilst the majority of families will be opening their advent calenders and looking forward to the 25th December, some won't.
Some parents will be struggling to put food on the table, not just for the humans, but their pets too.
Some, would rather starve than see their pets go hungry.

This is the sad reality for so many within our community.

I see people everyday who feel judgement for being in their current situation. Judgement from people who may, perhaps one day end up the same.
"When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself"

So this month, Crisis Pet Food Gosport. Would like to add a little cheer to the pets who need our help.

We are calling for treats, this can be in the way of food, treats, toys, blankets etc.

What is important, is that we can all come together as a community to help those in need.

For some, the thrill of a few minutes is 0-60 in a supermarket the price of a house.
For others, the thrill is knowing that one meal will cross upon their door.

Let's shorten the gap of those thrills just for one day.

We are again calling on the help of you beautiful souls.
Our stocks of wet and dry cat food is running very low as is our rabbit food.
It has been a busy few weeks, since we last got down on our knees and begged.

If you can spare even a packet of cat food, we can ensure you it will go to the pets in need.

With Christmas looming around the corner, we need to stock up to keep their little bellies full.

Yesterday's budget does not hold out much promise for the families already currently struggling.
Next year will be a test for those choosing food from clothing their children or feeding their pets.

It is sad to think that the GREAT has been removed from the title of Great Britain.

We must unite and help to feed those people with pets - REGARDLESS OF THEIR CIRCUMSTANCES- Because, quite frankly, this current government has yet again put the rich before its overall subjects.

MONEY IS SHORT, CHRISTMAS IS APPROACHING, PEOPLE AND ANIMALS NEED YOUR HELP.
